Stro is one of the nicest. He's stayed true to Hip-Hop, and most importantly true to himself. Sadly, this is not celebrated often in today's Hip-Hop scene.

I love that he's so dedicated to making true hip-hop & not selling out. of course everyone wants to make it back but I have a ton of respect for him. He had a record deal w/ Epic records & ended up leaving b/c they wanted him to sell out & not make HIS music! That takes balls of steel!! His record a label is called Grade A Tribe.

I wish Stro got a major look and a break by an honest label that valued the craft like Dreamville, TDE or PROERA. I'm only 21 but I remember watching him on XFactor when I was a little kid. That's weird because we're practically peers. But I've watched him evolve as an artist. Big ups bro, next to King Los your Sway 5 fingers of death joint is the best.

Stro's got the rapping finesse and confidence of 2nd Generation artists like Rakim, Big Daddy Kane & De La Soul, and he's barely in his 20's; as long as he maintains this work ethic, he'll deserve to be acknowledged alongside them. He's deffo one to watch.

I’ve been a hip hop head since the mid 80’s and this guy is amazing. True talent. If you want his type of music to thrive, true lyrics, true hip hop then buy his album. The garbage mumble rap is popular because people buy it plain and simple.

Rap has become like convenient store snacks In a funny way. People are quick to listen to singles and mixtapes with no real artistic approach or thought put behind it. It’s a quick thing we move on to the next shit because it’s so easy to reach all diff types of hip hop now. Niggas don’t wanna sit down and eat good rap that make you think ,they want that shit that’s easy and on the go type shit. Just like some chips in a corner store.

I can agree that his last album was a little much, I feel like AMERIKKKAN IDOL says everything the whole album is trying to say, and it's the best song on the album. Same way I felt about Logic's album, AfricAryan says what the whole album is trying to say. That's besides the point but Stro has some maturing to do and he hasn't even made a breakout record/video such as "Survival Tactics".
@revoksixth690
@revoksixth690 7 жыл бұрын
Zay Guru Music All Amerikkkan Badass wasn't meant to be lyrical album ....it was meant to be straight forward ...what it lacked in lyricism it made up for in Substance and concept ....Joey himself acknowledged that he wasn't trying to be lyrical but it ain't like he lost his pen game
