Very good photo! Artur Ogelsby did learn me back I river spey back in 80s and you get much deeper D lopp as the video at the left and as it one motion cast who means backcast never stops it just go back and soon it back it goes forward and whit long line the forward cast starts before leader lands beside you. Underhand cast by Göran Andersson is much faster cast and tempo is a big key factor here. And underhand pulls very destructive whit a fast stop of the rodtip and short stroke rods is a big benefit here ! Old style spey cast I love the Hardy favourite 16' Aftm 11# what a rod. I got many in the series. Black shadow is a UK made rod who also cast beautiful whit long DT lines ! I see Jim Love at spey he had two DT lines that he made a very long DT line of and he cast full length impressive to see I'm not that good but well 40-50 yards I do. Big thanks for shere this. Best regards Bjorn from Sweden

Superb explanation of different techniques! Everything is known by comparison. Perhaps, most efficient approach in video to explain anything. Thanks Ian

Ian; For ages I've always considered my anchor point actually turned the corner a bit before it landed. True?
