Hell, for 10 i was able to do a 585hp 427w so that's the route i went. I seen some guys push 4.6's to some amazing power especially on boost or nos but i preferred the bigger windsor pushrod motor.

@midnight3472 жыл бұрын
These kind of builds were common in the 2000s the sn are bad ass when done right. For some reason people don't like em now...or some people don't. The fox gets all the love but these cars are better cars top to bottom in every way. The ecu is finicky on 94-95 you can swap fox computers into them though or go aftermarket. 96-98 cobras are badass they have a ton of potential. I used to have a 97. They have a badass block and forged crank so forged rods and pistons + power adder of your choice you can have a beast on your hands. Super cool cars.

Unfortunately an auto but it was a good price and it was a virgin car, bone stock except the radio. I don't plan on doing anything too crazy with it, GT40 3 bar or GT40 aluminum X heads, Cobra intake. An Anderson B cam or Ford B, E or F cam, and eventually a supercharger.

@douglasstrode6824 Жыл бұрын
I have one too. It definitely needs a new paint job and is deep forest green. I've been driving it and restoring, improving it for 5 years. They made less than 6,000 of them in 1995 only. Mine aside from the GT engine and drivetrain(manual trans) has no options except for AC, power side mirrors and rear spoiler.
@douglasstrode6824 Жыл бұрын
They were trying to keep them light with little or no options. They are pretty much undesignated base model Mustangs with full 5.0 drivetrains.

@@douglasstrode6824 Sweet! Sounds like I may have under paid for mine. It's black no power win/door locks and no ABS
@legitmilkman983 күн бұрын
The GTS is a one year only model that they made to sort of resurrect the LX trim from the foxes. Basically take a stripped down no options car and gave it the GT drivetrain. They were able to get them down about 200 or so lbs from the regular GT. I just bought one a few months ago and its a rio red car and the only options in mine are power windows, locks, and mirrors. Theyre a cool unique car and can be easily spotted by the lack of spoiler, fog lights, and V6 cloth interior.

Why is the upper intake upside down in order to be fed through the other side? What is the reasoning behind that? What kind of compression is it running? Back in the say I had a trickflow hci 95 gt 347 with 10.5:1 compression, forged internals and a girdled block. Had 302 size parts so it made 302 power but 347 torque. I estimate 325 and 380 torque at the tire. It would have been bad with a blower on it and some good fuel. I could see it doing big power on low boost because of the compression. This is badass.
