Great videos! I’m one of those backyard builders lol. Problem is I live on LI NY so there’s nowhere to ride. But I have fun making parts, milling heads and building motors etc....

Sir gd morning,,sir where is the best long rod or stroker crank??

Longer rod dwells at the top longer which means you have more time for combustion. Which means it can handle more compression before detonation. It will also require a different spark timing.

True, sorta true, not really. No need to add or remove timing when going from a stock length rod, long rod or stroker.

I ran into Wiseco piston cracking running a 4.500" rod with a Wiseco 1999 piston in flathead limited modified. They got real thin

I have a 212 Hemi Predator, if I use a .010 head gasket and the long rod am I asking for a headache? I don't plan on shaving the head or getting fancy with head work.

as long as you have the required .030" piston to head clearance, you are good

enjoy the vids, I didnt hear you mention unless i missed it about STROKE is that it increases leverage, for example a bicycle with a long crank is easy to take off but unless you have some big lungs to make that bicycle crank spin fast youll poop out, same as an engine to make power with a bigger stroke may or will need a bigger induction system of air/fuel to get higher power, but it can still be a good torque motor without the enlarged induction and just regeared, To me a shorter stroke may take a bit longer to get up to speed but like a bicycle once your moving and keep the speed up it just keep going, i may be wrong and it may depend on whats being built such as a v8 or a single cylinder, long straights , tight turns or wide open ovals , is it heavy or light, . Merry Christmas

The comment about gold plate and glitter tells me you've been hangin with the Mini Dragbike. As for your small stature i would call it " Superior CG ".

The comment about rpm was probably talking about piston speed to high a piston speed the more heat it will make

So if i bore out my clone block and add a predator crank and piston, I will make a lot more power.
