The alley of Writers opened in 2019 along Abai Street from Sembinov Street to Egemen Kazakhstan Street. Its area is 1.2 hectares. There are three monuments on the alley: a marble book with the words of Abai, a monument “Ush arys" (Saken Seifullin, Ilyas Zhansugurov, Beimbet Mailin) and a monument to the leaders of the "Alash Orda" (Alikhan Bukeikhanov, Akhmet Baitursynov, Mirzhakip Dulatov).
In 2020, the "Kitap Qala" modular library opened in the heart of the alley of Writers. The library is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10.00 to 19.00 with a lunch break from 13.00 to 14.00, the library has a good book collection and various events are held. The total area of the library is 20 square meter.
In 2023, an alley of Journalists was opened next to the alley of Writers on Egemen Kazakhstan Street. Several symbolic monuments dedicated to media workers and a shelf with the names of Kazakhstani TV channels and publishers are installed on the alley of Journalists. Special sculptures of the Reader, Correspondent and Cameraman are placed in honor of the employees of the publishing industry.
