From the first moment I listened to the whole album from top to bottom, this song was definitely my favorite one. As a Turkish, I fell in love with the way you included the "Zurna" in the song so beautifully. Especially in the last part of the song, the part where the Zurna and strings come together still gives me goosebumps. On the other hand, the way of saying the word "années" in the "Ça prendra quelques années," part of the song is very similar to the "mother" pleas in Turkish laments (in the eastern part of Turkey, the word "Anne (mother)" can be pronounced as "Aney" in laments). For this reason I feel like, in this song, it is said that everything will be fine; But on the other hand, it feels like a lament for the mother. Maybe you don't know about these things while you're making this song, But this is the meaning of art: "With different perspectives, its meaning expands."💖🙏🏻✨

So in 'Fils de Joie' the sample from the Bridgerton teaser - that is actually taken from Bach - is the use of the strings for the rendition of the Bach melody then? Not the melody itself? Gotta give it to him, he's not ashamed of saying that he uses samples and actually tells where he got it from, most producers I know usually hide that fact even though it is alright to use samples.

That's such an interesting point. A huge part of producing is taking something and putting your own spin on it to make something completely new. Its a skill that takes so much artistry. Why hide that?

@@nichelleniks4526 That is true but some artists would rather not say they're using other people's materials, a famous example is Vanilla Ice using Queen's "Under Pressure" as a sample in his "Ice Ice Baby" song, he even said that it's not the same because he changed the last note and didn't want to admit he sampled it.

Superbe !! Stomae est l'un des plus intelligents et créatifs artistes de tous les temps , et ça se voit par sa façon d'écriture genre les sujet qu'il les choisit les paroles.. ect , ainsi par sa production musicale qui nous fait monter la culture folklorique mondiale de l'Amérique jusqu'à l'Asie..alors que vraiment je lui tire mon chapeau !
