207 slings...no wonder the old girl was like hey a new home, ill let Dave take care of the little ones.

Every one of the videos you've shown about supposedly hard-to-handle species is a testament to the effect of your respect on their behavior. I'm sure there have been less-than-publishable encounters but watching adults and babies respond to informed concern says a whole lot about proper husbandry. Love this channel!

Hi Dave I am arachnophobic and for a few years I have proposed to learn about tarantulas; I have read quite a bit of their biology and taxanomics and I follow many tarantula related channels. Out of all the ones I've come across, yours is the best because you're not trying to put on a show about how dangerous they are or show feeding scenes or glorify attacking stances. On the contrary, you are showing that if one respects and loves their animals, handling tarantulas does not have to be risky. I really like that you always teach practical aspects about the biology and environment of each species. I'm still a long way from being able to hold a tarantula in my hands, but your channel is helping me a lot and my only regret is that I didn't find it sooner. Greetings from Colombia and sorry for my bad English.

Hi Daniel, im so happy you have found our channel and your enjoying the content we try and show a different side to these amazing creatures they dont need to be scary or frightening they are beautiful in there own right, I think your our first subscriber from Columbia I am so happy you have found us and your English is fine 👍👍❤️

So far the most impressive "eggsack removal & rehousing" video, you're amazing sir! Not only when it comes to setting up the enclosures in a most lovely looking way, you also show us what "be calm, be gentle & love your spider" really is meant to look like. I believe this overall treatment of yours has a great impact on your spiders behaviour, as you were able to show us once more. But the best moment was, when you discovered the plot twist, hilarious! Share if you like the video, this man has deserved it.

Magic :O :D I am learning from your paint brush skills, to keep the brush with the spider (unless she turns round to confront it) as you guide her rather than moving the brush back and forth fast, if that makes sense. At first I'd move the brush back quick after every touch just in case there was an attack, but I think in doing so my movement was making the spider more scared.

@@daveslittlebeasties Wow, I can tell with the familiarity that you’re more than a “pro”. Often times your videos (and handling something most people are not comfortable around) remind me of my dad and his methods regarding beekeeping after he’s been doing it for 20 some years. Keeping spiders is a bit easier than bees when in a flat, so I’ve gone that way. And, both like to reward improper handling anyways. Hopefully someday I’ll be taking bark and things out of the enclosures with my hands and not tongs! I don’t think I have heard you mention it, was your first spider?
