I love this email, because it's one of the few times the characters actually react to Strong bad in a realistic way. Turns out, acting like an asshole results in you being alone and left out of the party.

Except strong sad deleted his invite like a prick. I'd argue that SB is no worse than Homestar, while not usually malicious, Homestar is impossibly dense and unaware. The only decent ones in the group are Marzipan and Bubs, the rest are varying levels of malicious or obnoxious, or just plain gross. And while Bubs is mostly a straight man, he has a habit of ripping everyone off, leaving just Marzipan who is most seldomly malicious. I doubt a normal person would want to hang out with any of them for long.

@@kauske I don't think Strong Sad deleted his invite. He was just making fun of the way Strong Bad yells "DELETED". It's more likely that Strong Bad ignored the invite because he's "too cool to hang with those losers".

@@WegraX I think we get used to perceiving Free Country, USA from Strong Bad's perspective: Everyone in his circle of friends is an idiot, weirdo, or loser (often several of these at once) to SB... ...except Strong Mad and The Cheat--and he's really not particularly kind to them, either😜 I love toons like this that demonstrate the reality Strong Bad knows isn't necessarily how things truly are☺️

@@negascoot23 I think from everyone's perspective Homestar, Coach Z and the KOT are pretty objectively terrible though. Everyone else is fine, but Homestar can be pretty insufferable most of the time, while the KOT and Coach Z are just obnoxiously stupid.

@@kauske At least Homestar and the KOT stop at being obnoxious: Coach Z shows definite signs of posing a serious danger to himself and others. Homestar can be a real dick--intentionally or unintentionally--but I don't think he would ever deliberately hurt anyone. As for the King of Town? He'd probably eat you given the opportunity...but anyone conscious could easily fight him off. He's far too pitiful to be dangerous. Not Coach Z... there's something _dark_ in him: Something that makes me feel like he could do terrible, horrific things without the slightest hint of remorse. Maybe it's just me...

Last Labor Day afternoon I needed to run to my local Ace hardware store for a masonry bit and some concrete anchors. I asked the cashier, who must have been about 20, how it was going, and he responded “eh, labor dabor.” Proof that h*r transcends generations.
