I've the 10m version I have a flagship pole, but prefer to use this pole for all my shorter work, It's really strong, never have to worry if a section is gonna break, Lovely and smooth finish Will be using over the bank holiday for big lumps, I also love preston rolla pullas, It cost me £170 my flagship pole top kits cost that much on its own Great pole,

@Gareth Watkins I use red hydro on my top kits for the monster pole Had carp to 16lb on it, Lots of good elastics out there,my top end pole has nu fish in them, alot more stretch than the daiwa,

Had one a while. Strong, robust, great at the full 10m but new models coming out .... they’ll be newer but the existing one is all you need.

got mine today carnt wait to try it out i have the pro type 200 also so all the top kits inter change so i have loads of options i will probably use my pro type in the winter and when i need to fish further out i may even try one of the match tops on the margin pole in the winter just to see what thats like so not to bothered if they do bring out a new model very happy with what i have .

Is it best to cut back a little to stiffen the top kits cuz there so long, I know the come pre bushed but it's only a 3.5/3.8mm internal Bush?

Loads of second hand ones knocking about tells me they not quite that great. Cheap though. So horses gor courses.

We have sold thousands and thousands of them so there are always going to be some going second hand. People upgrade so it's perfectly normal

Yep.. iv been looking into best for money around £200 mark and the middy m2 looks miles ahead.. looks stiff as anything too.. its my next buy all being well.. iv got a drennan red range 8m atm with duraslip elastic in.. does the job but gonna upgrade to the 10m middy m2 soon

The most over hyped pole on the market..... Top kits way too long very floppy, it's OK for the money but there are way better margin poles out there
