It's a dual life that he's living on, as RM of BTS on the stage, performing for army, and as Kim Namjoon his deepest self that army doesn't know, how he enjoys simple things in life, being closed to nature, being wrecked by a big storm, and he's allowing us to take a little glimpse of that. As is written in the song, he promise he will return someday, Army always support whichever way he takes.

When I watched the Festa dinner I felt this break was more for RM . The whole group needs it to find themselves but I felt RM needed more and to go back to being Kim Nam-Joon then he can come back to being RM with a renewed energy . I think he saying he lost his identity people only think of him as RM , he had to only think of RM and BTS but that not the only part of him he is Kim Nam-Joon as well, he can be both people. Thats what I got from it. I could be way off though. Its a beautiful and powerful song. So proud of him.

I respectfully disagree. The WHOLE GROUP needed a break. They have, as 7, been on this BTS road for 9+ years, and all 7 confined to a certain genre. More so, they got caught in the "celebrity vortex" which they have said numerous times they aren't apart of. This song tells me that RM wants the youthfulness of his poetry and songwriting, and to be ok with those that like it, fame or not.

Please don't think I wasn't meaning the others didn't need a break, I just wanted to focus on RM because its his solo album. I absolutely believe they all needed a break, so I apologize if you think I was omitting the rest of the group that was not my intention.

Firework - flame exploding splendidly Flowerwork - petal scattering beautifully and peacefully RM may want to be a petal than flame. Also "불꽃놀이" (Firework) and "들꽃놀이" (Flowerwork) have same pronunciation except only one letter in Korean, so it's kinda wordplay. ("들꽃놀이"(flowerwork) is the official title of this song in Korean)

This song is so beautiful and so full of emotion as it made me cry thruout. Rm is such a poet and his lyrics are truly beautiful and poetic and manages to bring out all the emotion inside os me, not only this but the MV is also very beautiful aswell. Also I love just how raw RM is with these lyrics and showing his true self to everyone. This is why I love this man to pieces

The field of flowers are indigo plants. The indigo dye is made from the leaves. The process to make the dye goes through an involved extraction purpose. I see RM laying in this field as a young boy in Ilsan looking up into the sky having the dreams of a young boy (referencing first UN speech. I see RM returning to this state as a young man, surrounded by ARMY (purple flowers) and having gone through an involved extraction process to produce 10 shades of blue to make Indigo.

Hello Dennis and Tim! Thanks for this reaction to "Wild Flower (with youjeen)" by RM. It's beautifully filmed, and full of meaning. I know many Army are surely missing BTS as a group while they are on a break for military service. However, I think hearing more individual music from each member will be a bonus, like this, and the recent new music from Jungkook as well. I feel certain we'll see them as a group again one day, but I also think there could be benefits to having some time for them to be apart from each other and do some different things. They were all pushing so hard on a constant basis. I hope they all get chances to rest and relax at times; they deserve it. I send best wishes to you both.

i think you can translate this into many peoples lives. i loves writing stories but in the past few years i have stopped because i didn´t feel the inspiration anymore but by giving up entirely it also leaves me with a feeling of emptiness. Because without my passion what iam i good at? what makes me unique and different. every one have something they are good at. it´s like when a very active person no longer is being able to walk. what do they have left. so it´s scary trying to find something new and for me i am not willing to give up writing. but i have other things i need to do in my life to so keep me busy and that can motivate me to write again later. but for RM who´s passion is his life. this must be even more frightening because he can´t just let it go and disappoint army's and his members i think he feels trapped because he can´t just take a break. the military is a welcome distraction even though it will be hard too. it´s something new and a they will get some new friends. i think this is a good thing. but i also want him to find love and go travel without being stopped by fans and just be normal. i want that for him but as a fan i am also greedy for more music. and i think he still want to create but in his own time and tempo

I absolutely agree with you! And also about your writing: this is your talent and passion. It will always be there. Even if at this point there is no headspace for it. It will come back later. It will always be waiting for you. No rush. Give yourself time to deal with the busy life right now first. I lost my creativity for a few years. And that was what it was. But then when you have time to explore it again it is so nice and welcoming ❤️

I'm glad you like it and I agree Jonnie really has a way with words and this song and the album really are a beautiful way to put all his thoughts for the past decade together before he can start a new chapter for himself. Like you said for him for the past decade all he has known is bts, but in that he hasn't had a chance to be Kim namjoon the way he hopes to be and now is his chance to do that. ❤️🥰
