Our tip-that we shared with you. Every morning around 10 or 10:30, we turn to each other and ask, “What does your perfect day look like?” We make lists of things we want to do in a place, might have 1 or 2 reservations in advance and keep our eagle eyes trained on local posters and newspapers for the unexpected surprises of local events. We have the same kind of big picture conversations about where to go next (we’re super planned out, at least in pencil). And money? We spend it like drunken sailors even when we’re sober sailors. Great tips! Like you said, communication is the key. Don't take things for granted, check in and just talk. We do have date nights (also important since we are traveling with my mom), and on the calendar we have a monthly "check in" scheduled just to touch base and talk about what is going well and what could be better or anything that might come up. We end up talking more often than that of course, but the fact that that one date is scheduled gives it some weight to make sure we treat it with some respect and really honor our commitment to sustaining this wonderful life we have together. (Just had our 31 year anniversary a while back!)

Nice job! 💯 agree and appreciate the reminders. The relationship we had before nomad life is still there at bedrock but we’ve grown and strengthened as a couple. It is hard when conflicts arise because old coping methods might not be accessible (hobbies etc) but we’ve found new ones. ❤

Just stopped your video on your spreasheet and realised we were at Cradle Mtn the same day - we flew from Melbourne to Launceston on Sat 10th Feb, then drover via Sheffield (had a little wander around town) to Cradle Mt for 2 nights. Hiked Cradle Mtn on Sun 11th Feb and drove back to Launceston airport on the 12th Feb.

We're still figuring this lifestyle out but I propose and plan the big stuff and Stan plans the daily activities. We don't plan anything the day before we travel so we don't stress about getting things ready to move. We likely go for a neighborhood walk but nothing complicated.
