You don't have to recruit the cannon until you need it. You save a few turns worth of gold.

Thrones of Decay changes Archaeon neighbour to Thamarkhan, now its harder to take the fortress unless you have a very solid army to deal with him.

Ok so when i attack Plains of Zanbaijin I have a locker on Point and it says i need to get other point 1st... strategy doesnt work anymore sadge

why do you not upgrade your marauders to chaos warriors

Main reason is money. Marauders are good enough to win most battles early on. As the campaign progresses, you level them up as needed.

They early gift gives a lot of replenishment and 8 attack. Warriors replenish more slowly. So early on yoy can do more fights faster with Marauders. Plus you can recruit way more because they are cheaper and they are faster so can chase slower fleeing units down

There's also ways to make them have huge armour from the furs building.

Change your starting warriors to halberds and take horsemen for the javelins and get a few spirit leech guys. Death is a good starter lore anyway because when they devote they take the Life Leeching passive with them

Question: Why do you take the 3 points into Devoted of Chaos skill when there's no forces of Order to fight until you encounter Kislev?

It also gives you more souls after battle

anyone know if they ever buffed training triat is that why you got it? i just remember it being dookie cheeks in wh2 so i never got it

Yes it used to be a tiny xp per turn but now it's % based so whatever xp you get is increased per gain by that % and many battles give you 2500xp or more and with the Exalted Hero you can get like 50% more xp per battle
