Stronghold Kingdoms - Village Layout Basics

last played 2 years ago, recently started again, saw all 9 villages are gone and inner city was blank, this quickly squashed my frustration and gave me a fresh incentive to build like I've never built before, thank you for useful information even for an old timer

In lowland, I tend to put the cathedral inbetween the stone and iron, so it takes very little space from both, and it doesn't cut my stone or iron potential that much. But on highland, I put it on the top-right corner. You can actually build there, on top of that big boulder, did you know? :P

+Jon_jon13 Indeed, having it anywhere along the edge of the screen is going to be more efficient than putting it in the middle of your village. In regards to the highland, yes, I use that layout but I was trying to focus more on lowland types because that's the default village for new players.

what would be real helpful is you taking a new village with max resources and building it up on video, like people do with castles.

There are a couple of quests you can complete and firefly frequently gives premium tokens away during seasonal events or for promotions.
