Mr Compress can basically "compress" something or someone into one of his marbles, and then release it again. he turned half of Overhaul's arm into a marble, basically cutting his hand off, then Shigaraki decayed half his arm before slicing his arm to stop the decay. since Overhaul can only use his hands with his quirk, he's now unable to use his quirk

Technically Chisaki Isn’t qurikless per say....it’s just that the exit and entry point for activating His Quirk was in his hands! If it adapts then he could use it anywhere else on his body! It’s kind of like when Deku first got OFA....now Chisaki has to figure out how to use/adopt it in a different way with basically destroying his body...which is why Tomura basically said he’s useless now!

Chisaki's mask has two major functionalities that are intertwined. The first one is the obvious one, he has mysophobia (fear of germs) so he wears mask to protect him from inhaling the germs and bacteria he may produce from using his quirk. The second has to be with the shape that is similiar to the ones used by Plague Doctors in the middle ages, since the Plague is a well know bacteria related disease. And since he feels like everyone is "plagued" by the hero and quirk syndrome, he feels like the Plague Doctor that will cleanse them all. The reason all his underlings use the same type of mask it's less of a functional one though. It's more as a gang related paraphernalia, to get identified in the streets as part of the Shie Hassaikai.

Chisaki had better combinations of pawns and his goal was concrete. without the impredictable ssj deku, he would have won for sure. deku literally changed the future to defeat him. he was confident about his power, but when you see how far he managed to evolve his quirk... it's normal to have such confidence, that dude could regen, os, and fusion and mold the ground.

He never really had the chance to succeed All Might. If he got the quirk, then yeah. There was a slight chance in that case, but because of Nighteye and All Might's relationship at the time, it was bound to take a guy like Deku to sway All Might the other way. Lemillion didn't (still doesn't) even know about OFA, so he couldn't have lost something that never really mattered to him.

"I'll repair you when we make it big" Now he can't use his quirk, his old man will never wake up, even though chisaki put him in a state of coma he actually respected the old man and always defended him, and now he can't repair him. It's pretty sad from a manga reader perspective because we never heard from that old man ever again after the police found him in that room.

Hey notice the parallels between eri and shigaraki. Blue hair ,red eyes. Death quirk, accidently kill father/family. Manipulated by villains (overhaul, all for one). Only difference is eri was saved, shigaraki wasnt. And parallels between Shigaraki and overhaul. Abandonded children. do anything to repay the kindness they got when they are children to their master. Shigaraki care about people around him while overhaul use them until the end. Shigaraki is more like eri, overhaul is more like all for one. Overhaul was right about two things. Quirks are dangerous, disasters. And about deku, "your justice is small, you only see in front of you", tragicly he is right. Deku s justice only save certain people and cant see others. But i hope one day he will realize this and try to change it and become the greatest, Real, TRUE HERO.

I know this is besides the point but in the manga, Tamaki woke up the moment the quirk-erasing bullet hit Mirio, sensing something terrible happened to him. Which results in him finding Mirio and carrying him out of the building and save Aizawa. If Tamaki hadn’t woken up, Mirio might have bled to death and Aizawa wouldn’t be able to save Midoriya and Eri. And I like how Tamaki’s the one who carried Mirio all the way out even though we can see there’s several policemen beside him when he saved Aizawa.

The Magician character's name is Mr. Compress. He can compress things or people. If it's a person he can basically capture them, if it's an object he can carry it around. Or more frighteningly, he can compress a part of a person or object, essentially severing a body part or creating an opening in a surface like the wall or ground. Also, this marks the first time an event occurs where Midoriya is the only one not hurt while everyone else is. Which is usually the opposite in these cases.

Please don't spoil me, but I have a theory: What if All Might knew that Midoriya's dad was All for One and that deku has the ability to steal quirks, which is why he "didn't have or didn't show" any quirk?
