Few people have seen Kaiju No. 8 in action before now and those that have aren't talking. There is next to know information about him on the internet and he clearly didn't get any information on him from the kaiju side of things. He didn't know his his strengths, abilities, name, or that he can also take human form.

Soshiro Hoshina is a menace 🤣🤣🤣 cant wait until you see just how sick he is, as a manga reader he is my fav character, Soshiro, then Gen (who hasn't been introduced as yet), then Reno, then Kikoru and then Kafka.... You both are in for wild one when this gets even more serious. 👍

in case your wondering why kikoru is strong at using that sign it's because every Character in this anime has different specialty like Mina who's strong at using gun even when she's using pistol it's like cannon if she's the who use it and there is Vice cap who's strong at using sword and kikuro who's strong at using huge melee weapon

Even thought that will happen and she is better with that kind of weapon that wasnt the reason in this case. The gun and bullets power works off how much output they get from the suit, that why her shots have been so powerful in the beginning but remember last episode when they talked about power drops after prolonged use and the rookies arent used to it as yet. So basically her rounds werent as powerful as before.

@@Keyshawn13 not really. in the Closing song it shows Kikoru with a giant ass axe, it foreshadows her being a melee user from the start with her picking up the van and tossing it, then using a metal beam in the test and her saying her gun isn't strong enough in this case and chopping it to pieces with a road sign. you can tell she likes melee, she just isn't important enough to get a custom weapon yet like the vice captain. I don't read manga so I only know what it shows in the anime, he didn't ruin anything imo.

You don't actually realise how strong Kafka is until much later in the series. Him and Kaiju no 9 are just on an unreachable level later on when Kafka starts learning how to properly use his kaiju powers and Kaiju no 9 starts absorbing everyone to get stronger.

Imagine how disappointing it would be if No. 9 was taken down here. We've got something that uses kaiju corpses in the cleanup crew, and all they've done with it so far is "Wait, you shouldn't be here yet", and now they've also thrown in him modifying living kaiju. They've got some threads they've got to make use of.

Yeah, it would be very underwhelming for it to be defeated so soon. But I wish they didn't make his escape go like that, it's so frustrating to have him completely defeated and be able to get away because kafka got distracted

He is a 9.7 on the scale no captain could kill him as the vice captain said if the reading is true he is the strongest Kaiju in the world... doubt a 92 percent captain could even hurt him.

Kafka has a 9.8 Fortitude Level, to be exact. And if I'm not mistaken, Hoshina said that Kaiju № 8 would go down in history as _one of_ the strongest ever. This could be Hoshina predicting that stronger Kaijus will appear in the future or that there are currently stronger Kaijus outside of the country.

Considering kaiju No 9 was talking to someone in the phone the same episode it was shown. You could guess that there is some type of organized system with the kaijus and them knowing if eachother. The "we found you" fron the parasite that infected him also points to that.

Taking in his confusion at seeing Kafka, I disagree. The phone was how he watched the news and first heard of the Kaiju No.8 designation, and later he used it to talk to the cleanup crew guys to keep from blowing his cover while taking way too long in the bathroom. Still, the idea of this kind of organized system is an intriguing point. I'm more interested in what the parasite had as it's parameters for host selection when it decided on Kafka.

gooooooooooood I HATE this trope(?) of having the villain on the brink of being defeated and the protagonist gets distracted by some dumb sh*t instead of just finishing it quick, so frustrating anyway, good episode! HEYYY!!!!!! StruckByBelz about the questions uve asked, hears the story. Kafka is a half kaiju, well , dont get me wrong here, im a manga reader so yes, there are different major hints you may wanna go back to like the dragonfly monster communicating to kafka in their "kaiju" language. the dragonfly was looking for kafka for awhile to awaken kafka's true hidden form as "kaiju No.8:... somewhere along the story you'll get hinted that along time ago kaijus mated with humans, so yes kafka is a hybird indeed. not just kafka weird sensing ability actually came from that dragonflys that took over his body. but whats crazy is that a combat power scale couldnt measure kafka's power level making it to show "0%" , its alot and i know you'll understand after watching the whole series. but whats actually crazy about kafka being the strongest kaiju, is because of his will. the stronger ur will, the stronger you will be, same applies to Captain Mina Ashiro and Vice-Captain Shoshiro hoshina (LITERALLY LEVI IN THIS SERIES)... thank you
