Struggle has an amazing story. He went to prison and came out to change his life and use his music to talk about it. He's also a great father to his kids. I love to hear stories like his so powerful. Most of his music is not Christian but he never hides his faith. He's Waylon Jennings step grandson. Waylon was a country music outlaw legend.

I agree with your grandma, things truly started down the path of imorality in the early nineties. It has been absolutely shocking what has happened to the USA in the last 30 years. Tom and Struggle both featured on Upchurch’s song “Travellers”. Upchurch is another independent and versatile artist with a large following called the “Creek Squad”. ‘Church has also collaborated a couple of times with Adam Calhoun, who did American Flags with Tom. To add another name to the list, Tom has also featured Dax on a couple of his tracks, and Dax has returned the favour and featured Tom as well. “Black & White (w/ Dax & Adam Calhoun)”, “Propaganda”, and “Blame the Rappers” are collaborations between them. In my opinion, on “Black & White”, the guys have fun, but Dax steals the show for sure. Dax’s own tracks that I’ve found to be powerful are “Dear God”, “PTSD”, “Dear Alcohol”, and “To Be a Man” (which also has a “Mega Remix” version that is worth following up on the original with, and an alternate version featuring Darius Rucker - or “Hootie” if you know him better from the 90s - the last two tracks have been blowing up with millions of views in record times.

Struggle Jennings daughter Brianna Harness is also a singer. She has some songs with her dad. She is also dating Ryan Upchurch. Ryan Upchurch inspired Adam Calhoun to get back into rapping after he retired. So we own Ryan a huge Thank You for bringing him back. Tom has some songs with Ryan Upchurch as well. They are all a tight knit group of very Talented friends.

Struggle is heavily influenced by Christianity. Still not sure I'd call him a Christian rapper but more, a rapper that is Christian. Another in that vein is NF who you'd like as well. NF is a bit more introspective and began as a Christian rapper but made a conscious shift to a rapper that is Christian. NF's catalog is large and is almost a continuous story of his life. With him, many will say to start at the beginning (mush like many will say with Tom). So many amazing independent artists out there. You'd also appreciate Dax who also has some Christian spirituality in his music and has collaborated with Tom.
