Whatever you do get married when you want to I didn't get married because I didn't want to I don't have kids cuz I didn't want to but yes I heard when you going to have kids when you going to have kids I wasn't asked when I was going to get married but when I was going to have kids and I'm like I don't want to have kids and I don't want to be married but this is the problem just like you said they didn't invite you to family issues and stuff I wasn't invited to family function and if I was it was to help fix the food or watch their kids why they went out and have fun but when I got ready to tell them something that was wrong about that kid they were like how would you know you don't have kids but I'm taking care of all these kids I own a daycare center I worked on base military base teaching kids was dealing with kids and now that I'm retired I'm still dealing with kids my nephew and my nieces they bring their kids around me and stuff my brother just told my youngest niece that oh you can talk to this auntie about everything and anything that's the one you want to talk to talk to her but yet they also turn around and say oh you don't know nothing you don't have kids so live your life you're young and you need to travel live life then settle down if you want to if not do you😅 and I'm from the United States and I'm 56 years old and I'm happy that I have no kids and no husband and my mom still pushing me to have kids at my age😂😂😂

There is no rule for marriage accept when you are below 18. In Africa, there is no hope to settle financially. Our economies are not performing well. No employment opportunities etc. You may be a graduate but market is very competitive with a lot of people jobless. No capital to even start business. If you wait to be financially stable then you marry, that is not going to happen. Marriage will force you to work harder because there is already serious responsibility. However, I agree with you that at least someone marries at a later age. Not so early!
