Rock on! Your comment makes me super happy. I love that both you guys are playing along. 🤎 And I LOVE Pink Floyd. I've worked on half a dozen songs with my guitar teacher, let me see what I can do. I appreciate the suggestion!

I subscribed immediately, I really like your style homie. I'm an 80's kid myself (born in '72) so I'm all about that hair metal. Haha. I really should learn that awesome intro riff to Poison's "Nothing but a good time".

Lol, and I'm a '73 kid, so I'm right there with you. And I agree, 'Nothin' But a Good Time' is amazing. That would definitely be worth learning... If you don't mind, I'm going to have to look into it! 🤘

@@TheStrugglingGuitarist So, I did watch it. I have been "working on" this riff for a month or so and your video helped me realize that I had been playing it wrong. Haha. I knew something sounded wrong about it. How long have you been learning? I've been... "learning" for 15 years or so, but I have gotten nowhere because I keep getting frustrated and quitting. I also took about 7 years off when I went to college and it consumed my life.

Whoops, somehow I missed your reply. Sorry about that! Yeah, that's the cool and often super frustrating thing. There are usually a ton of different interpretations of a song, and often I need to find the right one to make it click or else I've been known to spin my wheels. Glad my video helped! I've been playing for 4-5 years and I've definitely stalled a few times. I don't know how it works for you, but I found that when I have a teacher, I feel the urge to practice "for them" as much as myself, so as not make an ass out of myself. (Which of course still happens. 😂 )
