Hi Emma, sorry not been watching any youtube this last week, my daugter has moved home from a 3 bed to a four bed so Ive been helping a lot there, so much cleaning to do. Today I have caught up in my house and just showered and pjs on ready for an early night watching some tv in bed. 5 carpets to clean on Tuesday at my daughters so the week after I can start decorating my own sitting room starting with papering the ceiling, my son said not to bother but for ten years Ive been looking at it hating it since I moved in so time to sort it. Great how you were able to not buy that pot because like you said you have enough pots, its that change in your thought process after all the hard work you have done in your home that will really help in the future. Hi Emma my name is Sian (pronounced Sharn) Ive been called Sean and Si-ann in the past so thought i'd nip it in the bud 🤣I love your channel and relate to your wanting to hold onto things. However i recently divorced after nearly 40 years of marriage I'm 61 and had to downsize , this was 3 years ago and i'm still popping to the local hospice shop with donations. I actually love not being buried under 'stuff'. Mind you i loved quilting and sewing and have so much fabric i still need to let go of even though it cost alot of money it's been sat in my sewing room for 3 years untouched ! Just to let you know I live in the beautiful New Forest in Hampshire, and love walking my dog especially this time of year as there are so many foals both ponies and donkeys. I've lived here for 50 years and am used to seeing Red and Fallow deer all the time but I was so excited to spot a pair of MuntJac deer the other morning they have a very distinctive shape to them don't they? I love that you palmed off your Vase to someone i'd so love to be a fly on their wall 🤣 PS not showing off but i usually walk 15-19'000 steps a day because of walking the dog and my job as a cleaner! but I need to say NO to chocolate sweets etc as I still need to lose at least 3 stone 🤣

Great vlog Emma as always. I remember one New Year's Eve I had invited my mum and brother to come and play games etc and have a nice dinner with myself husband and two children. They went out for the afternoon and had not turned up. Both of them had completely forgotten (or so they said at the time) so we had it without them. But the lack of consideration really hurt. So I sympathise with your situation. Vase made me laugh! Anyway, my son finished his degree course and will be doing a masters so we are in the throws of decorating his room, organising, decluttering to make way for a new desk etc for the next chapter. xx ❤

Yesterday my daughter did some decluttering of old art pieces and supplies she’s not going to use. We’re getting rid of 5 more large bags of stuff. Yay! Sorry you were feeling sad that your daughter isn’t able to eat out easily like others can. It must be frustrating when family members don’t consider her when making plans. It did actually rain on and off in Menorca, but the weather was good inbetween that, I got a good tan, and Afflecks Palace is still there 😁 in Manchester my Son used to get his grunge clothes from there as a 14yr old he is now 35 and well past that stage. 😂 Canal Street is still going strong still very popular. 💐

Hi Emma!! Forgot to say the other day where I’m from, Dundee!! Scotland’s sunniest city!! 🌤🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Although it’s been horrible this week here too. My dogs are Bichon Frise, very high maintenance grooming wise and so so fluffy so it’s no wonder they don’t like going out in the rain as they get absolutely soaked!! Good going with the steps, yes it’s better getting them done early, I’m like you and have 4000 to go tonight at 9pm 😫😰 Just think ten mins is roughly 1k, good way to look at it. So if you have a spare 10 mins march on the spot!! 🤣🤣 Also, Get Fit With Rick bedtime cool down one is 1k steps in 9mins something, I am away to do that 4 times on repeat just to get it done. Swear I’m not on commission, I just love his KZbin channel haha!! Love your hanging plants, have them all over the house here but artificial as I have allergies and also would no doubt kill them 😰🤣

Well done Emma considering the amount of work you have to do other than house chores you get a lot done . Sad day here as my father passed at the end of April I have lots of his stuff in my front room to go through , My partner has cards from our daughter and granddaughter for fathers day . I had a busy weekend and was not well today, so I'm just getting around to sharing how do I eat strawberries with lettuce. Strawberry Lettuce Salad I have always just made this up on plates or bowls for each person. mix of baby greens or fresh baby spinach strawberries, hulled and cut chopped pecans or sunflower seeds sliced red onion Dressing: 2 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar 1 tsp Dijon mustard 1 tsp pure maple syrup or honey ¼ tsp table salt ¼ black pepper If you decide to try it, let me know what you think! I also make a similar one in the fall with apples.

We used to take my 4 oldest to Affleks Palace as it was the best place to buy goth clothes.We live a couple of hours away but they loved it there. On a sad note I tried to save a hedgehog which I found near my house in the middle of the day,Took it to a hedgehog rescue but it was very malnourished and dehydrated but at least it was warm and comfortable when it died .

I think your secret rehoming of decluttered items is hilarious!😂 I live in California, near Sacramento, the capitol. On average we have 23 days a year over 100F/37C degrees. Air conditioning is a must and pools (at home or in the community) help. In summer 2022 I went to the UK to visit my sister who was living in Manchester. We stayed in London a couple days, one of which was over 37C with no AC in the hotel. Brutal. I brought the heat with me. 😂

Happy Father's Day to your hunny! I spent the weekend with my dad as we traveled across Northern Iowa to help celebrate a family members graduation from High School. I don't think we've ever spent that much time alone together - ever it was nice!

Except for his siblings, my dad's family has always lived in Nebraska. I'm not sure how many generations ago his mother's ancestors moved here from Germany and Ireland. His dad's family are also longtime Nebraska's which emigrated from Germany LONG ago. My mother's mother's family lived in Kentucky before they moved to California. Grandma moved to Nebraska after she met my grandpa in World War II. She was a German and Scottish descent. Grandpa's parents emigrated from Denmark. They both spent some of their childhood in a poor house. So my ancestry profile says I hail from Germany, UK & Scandinavia.

My dad's brother moved to Illinois and his sister to Iowa after they married. All of my Mom's family still lives in Nebraska now that I have moved back from Missouri.
