Sorry to hear of your health problems. Top level football is a short career, but I think you have found your long term calling with your channel and your systematic approach to training and coaching. The best information for young players I have ever seen. Thanks 🙏

@@stailenknife5453 For tactical analysis I mostly watch "The Athletic FC (former Tifo Irl)", "Modern Football Analyst" and recently "FourFourTwo". For individual skills I mainly watch "7mlc", "Dribble Designer Okabe" and "Football Doctors" (the last two are in Japanese though). I believe there are many more good channels .

Amazing ! All those little details make such a big difference, now the opposition midfielder can’t see you and the ball at the same time 👏🏼

What's the blind side of other midfielders about? Please explain or send link to the video. Thanks
@siebrenwyns6788 Жыл бұрын
@@Man2100xwhen playing in the midfield, an option to position yourself is behind another midfielder and the ball. So that the midfielder cant see you (hes probably looking at the ball himself) and when you see a space gap you just run explosively to that space and when the midfielders finally sees you or the ball going towards you he’s probably already too late. this tactic just gives you more time on the ball if done correctly

@@chasingmypotential i could really argue that defending is one of the haardest parts of football cuz there is a technique that u tackle theres times where your supposed to back off and give space and a single decision error here could cause a goal

Whenever I have a bad touch I always try to win the ball back and keep moving. I try to shake it off and if anything I ask for the ball more to string together touches to help ease me into a game.

Loved the advice, aside from developing/understanding your game inside out. I fall into the category of people that's been chasing teams to get a chance to be seen. I know networking is a huge part of football but in the lower non league teams is kept bare minimum tried everything to make it happen it's just difficult to step up .Would love to see a vid breaking down how to approach teams and if an agent is something to consider at the beginning

Interesting point mate, I was playing semi pro and got a trial in league one and it was successful, by putting my clips together and sending it to an agent. I can definitely make a video in the future on this. Feel free to message me on insta if you have specific questions

I'm a very skillful playmaker at my local team over here in Nigeria, I train with two different teams one in the morning, the other in the evening or I play 5 aside street footy. In the first team I train with they don't really appreciate my game, I don't overcomplicate things, my tactical game is also, at least ok, I'm not perfect, no one is, I still make little mistakes but my coach prefers the faster, physical players in my position even though their technique or tactical awareness isn't great. In the second team the coach likes my game but I can't follow them to matches. I do have a problem though, my work rate, it's absolutely shit. I tend to be lazy, once I start pressing I feel like the juice in my brain is draining quickly. Idk, I have to save my strength I think😅. And my emotional side is also bad. Whenever we play against our main team (cause I play for the u-19s) they tend to threaten us, try to injure us, they talk into my head and I just feel afraid and confused, don't know why. My coach (first team) says it's good because Nigerian footy according to him is a battlefield, if you aren't strong enough you are going nowhere. I know my complaint is kind of long, but can you give me a little advice? 🙏
@chasingmypotential Жыл бұрын
Firstly if you haven’t got work rate of the ball no coach will play you, in my recent video where you see Ozil not pressing, it destroys the whole team because one players doesn’t work With the culture in your league that sounds terrible man. I’ve been in a similar situation once in the lower leagues In England. Don’t beat your self up because you can’t express yourself in those game, because any normal player would feel trapped and withdrawn. All the hard work you’ve put in for someone to potentially give you a career ending injury, with no protection from your coach or the referee as its “a battlefield”. This isn’t football, if they want to fight they should do boxing. You wont progress in that environment, im not sure of your circumstances ect if it’s possible to join another league I would Hope that helps
