One of the reasons why I disagree with people who think Ronaldo couldn't have played in Barça with Tiki Taka, think about it, Messi finding passing lines to give the ball to Ronaldo and Ronaldo finding space to exploit making a run and since Barça players are meant to read passes, Suarez would already be at the passing line Ronaldo will find, being able to finish the job.

You obviously did not really watch Barca play tiki taka.. the tactic wasnt about feeding the ball to a single player.. The tactic heavily relied on players with high ball control ability and passing abilities.. and half the barca players had these qualities.. Bousquest, Xavi, Iniesta and Messi.. And sometimes even Dani alves joined in.. making quick passes at close range was the key.. And Ronaldo passing ability doesnt measure up to the level needed to play tiki taka..

The different mindsets of different “types” of players and/or different mindsets of players as they get into particular positions/areas on the pitch. I’m of the belief that the more creative/dimensional you are the more confident, steely and focused you have to be as you there are more options for you but also more risk of making the wrong decision. Obviously as a professional having a strong mindset to go along with technique and understanding is key but just wanted your thoughts on it. Separately I saw a snippet of a course pop up on screen. When you say mind set, the way you describe it sounds like you’re talking about more of the thought process for each different position is that what you mean? And yeah if you can play multiple positions you hold more information about the game. Fantastic and great analysis bro! I actually think Cristiano Ronaldo is a better playmaker and passer than he gets credited for. I get that some people will point to Messi as the better passer but in my opinion Cristiano Ronaldo is not far away from Messi either. Sure, imo messi is a better passer, but again, Cristiano Ronaldo has shown a decent amount of times in his career that he can make some great throughballs, long balls/passes and passes from time to time and from game to game. In other words i think Cristiano Ronaldo s Vision is underrated 7️⃣😊🇵🇹 also, just to give some context to Messi and Cristiano's stats in key passes, big chances created and accurate throughballs ; Key passes; Messi: 1387 and Cristiano Ronaldo 890. To sum it up, some would conclude that Messi is the more creative player, which i guess is fair to say considering the gap. But if you compare it to other wc players, Cristiano Ronaldo still have very impressive playmaking stats. Even compared to Messi especially in terms of key passes they are very close imo.
