I am on Enbrel too since 2006, wouldn't change it for another! When I have flare ups it is usually because I cheated with grains or diary. What made all the difference in the world is fasting for 24 hours when I have flare ups. Just water and I see immediately 80-90% amelioration. All these autoimmune diseases are metabolic diseases. I was just diagnosed yesterday. After dealing with this for 15+ years. I feel so lost and full of pain. Going to start meds soon as soon as I get my blood pressure under control. So much and I am totally overwhelmed.

Once the medications start working on your pain I think you'll feel a lot more positive. It's hard to feel optimistic when you are in so much pain, it can be maddening.
