IT would be really cool in future releases you can customize the exact strum pattern rhythms.

You can do this in Ample Sound guitars and customize the speed, depth, muting etc of every individual strum in a nice interface, then drag and drop into MIDI. It lets you program lead parts as well. I have Impact Soundworks' Hydra library and I want to buy their other acoustic guitar library. But the only thing stopping me is the lack of a detailed strum designer. Their guitar libraries offer crazy amounts of detail for lead and fingerstyle (five levels of palm mutes!!) but if you want to program complex strums you have to fiddle around with MIDI and remember keyswitches. In Ample Sound you fine-tune your strums and add articulations in a nice UI, and simply drop it into the piano roll. I absolutely love Impact Soundworks libraries for lead and plucked parts, but if I tried to program Krotona Days in their libraries my grandchildren will have grandchildren by the time I'm done with it.

So, I can only use the "internal" sound that instrument has. I can't trigger one of your guitar products (Serpent, Rogue etc.) with this, right?

You can copy the midi performance to another track for the other products and the articulation layout might be different as well?

I took a look at the manual and couldn’t find any mention of midi out on this. Is there intention of adding this in the future? Would be extremely useful

This is a phrase library and not midi chords so what would be the point? Actually, i might have been wrong about that. But kontakt has midi out does it not?

Can Strum Designer allow the producer create their own strum from scratch or do they have to select prerecorded patterns (rhythm?)

@@ellensoomers9496 Sorry about that; no, Strum Designer does not let you create new strumming patterns from scratch. You'll need to select from pre-recorded patterns.

@@ImpactSoundworksLLC I also already have ar3, do I have to download everything after the upgrade, or is it enough to download the files nki nkr etc without Samples? How do I proceed? I have slow internet and would prefer to avoid downloading a large amount of GB. :)

It's audio based sampler,so there is no midi comparsion..If you need a very good midi strum guitar,you have to go with Ample Sound Strum/Guitars (Most realistic plugin) or Native Instruments Mint Guitar or Acoustic plugins..I prefer always Ample Sound Guitars..Best of the best as always.

It's live percussion, but we actually took the live performances and chopped them up for our Momentum library!
