Wow. An effects pedal demo using a synthesizer. Very rare and much needed. Thanks. Everybody raves about this Big Sky Reverb.

Its so nice to see someone actually play the synths while displaying what the pedal can achieve, instead of endlessly rambling about what is technically happening and pressing a few random keys.

OH MAN I CAN'T WAIT TO GET ONE OF THESE. The trails between presets, ease of changing presets, the list goes on. People who hate on this pedal should take a production course and learn how to use reverb. This thing is so freaking amazing, any bad tones are down purely down to user error.

Yep, I bought a BigSky for my P06. A slightly expensive luxury. 😀 It's good, but the P06 effects aren't that bad either. But after listening to this superb demo, I think I should tweak a few more of my presets. To suit performance with a P06 synth. Also, I just fell in love with your Deco Mr and Mrs Strymon, by the way. It overloaded my DSi Tempest when used as an insert. But when used on my send channels, well that is sumptuous compression and superior stereo spacing in one! And now I have to ration the amount each synth or drum machine receives, before my mix is completely soaked in that believable analog goodness. 🤓
@alternativeinquirer84387 жыл бұрын
dunno i really think the dsi gear is overpriced and sub par given what else is available.
@heiqqmtb60927 жыл бұрын
I'd like to hear what is that your comparing the DSI to? Yes there are other ones out there that can do more stuff and are maybe even cheaper but I wouldn't call DSI sub par.

in the first half of this vid, I actually really like how far away the player is from the big sky. It shows how well this pedal dose in a situation where you select a preset and just play your flippin instrument. It's a realistic display of it's common real world use IMO.
