Strymon Deco V2 with Moog Minitaur bass synth

In this video I wanted to test how the Strymon Deco V2 works with the Moog Minitaur.
I'm mainly interested in a bit of chorus (without cutting out the lows) and some saturation.
So far I like what I'm hearing!

Hi there, thanks for the video. Loving the sound. Does this mean the low frequency’s are no longer mono or is the decco really clever? I am wandering if in a mix you would need to make the low frequency’s , say below 100 Hz back to mono with a plug-in.

​@@Wildb0y Thanks. To my best knowledge, it can create a full stereo image, all across the spectrum. There is no (again, to my best knowledge) mono summing option in the lows, so if I would be using it on an album, I would have to use a plugin for that. There is a high pass option on the saturation part, but not on the doubletracker (that I'm aware off). But TBH, I have just recorded a jam with the Deco and in the final part I'm pushing a super subby patch through it and (to my ears) it sounds amazing. @@tricks-and-tips yeah cool will do. Basically I have the decco v 1 and the minitaur , and I like your way of using it but I’m wiring on a live set so it makes a big difference with mono. Atm I’m running it in dual channel mode in channel for minitaur the other for the main drums apart from the kick.

@@Wildb0y I chatted with Strymon support and the stereo effect is very limited. It boosts one channel (left) and that creates a psychoaccoustic stereo effect. So there won't be phasing issues. I suggested to create a high pass filter with sum to mono for the sub, but you know what they always say : we will forward this to the designated team... It was an interesting chat and they responded very quickly, which was nice! I have to try the dual channel mode. Not sure if I saw that already.
