Can you make a Guitar Pedal tutorial for the Strymon Nightsky, its a very expensive pedal but I don't really know how to use it? TQ
@dondouglas9 ай бұрын
I think Perry has gotten to the point that interests us, which is what can be done with this pedal. For my taste they are the best examples, the most musical and also the most beautiful. A considerable sensitivity. Yesterday my pedal arrived not without many doubts because I play bass and I am more oriented towards jazz and neo-soul, that is, the opposite. But I enjoy music in different contexts. Everything I saw on KZbin showed the technical aspects, the same loop throughout the video and despite the magic and mystery that surrounds the marketing with which this pedal has been launched, I had many doubts. I have a J-200 too since just the fretless bass maybe wasn't the best option. I tried it yesterday and I was surprised. Today, thanks to Perry, I'm going to copy each preset until I get mine, but I think some should come from the factory since they are the best of the best. Thanks for your generosity.

Hearing the songs now, I get a feeling of loneliness, despair and terror. Not even with the spooky parts but the melancholic ambient parts and the silent ones. Really terrifies me and the music interacts deeply with my inner fears. Reason is that my cat is pretty old and the doctor said he is gonna be dead soon. I can cope a bit better now with it but the pieces here are so spiritual that it brings out all those feelings... I know Francesco understands as he has a lovely cat as well (which joined a an ambient drone loop session lol). Still one of your best videos here, every song spot on.... With my favourite effect pedal which this video brought me to at the first place

So sorry to hear about your cat, Lisa is old too, she's 15 years old. I can understand your feelings and I really don't want to think about my future without her. She's a very important part of my life. That's it. ❤

@@ex1stenz Hey mate No, he died just a week later. But to be honest its very okay for me. He had a good life but at the end he was in pain, he was old and he was tired of living. So i am glad for him that he could go in peace. Also the sadness is gone - I remember him in love but I ultimately understood that it was okay What about your dog? He is old as well? Nothing against orange, but the crush amps are a bit lower end for them. Nightsky turned them into studio quality stereo ambient bliss. This pedal is just so crazy good. This is one of those pedals we will all be stumbling on to things for years. Great patches, sir. Thanks for sharing.

Man, secondary functions are standard. I never change them. If you have changed them, you should go back to the standard and then recreate the settings as you see in the clip. Keep in mind that to have the same sound you should use Orange amps too. Have fun 🙏
