Okay, if this old gal can give a thumbs up, it would be me...I know Mick Jagger personally (not his real name) and besides that I am Doctorate of computer science from MIT...and trust me, being in Boston all the time, I get this music and I was hired to listen to bands and their music and say, yay or nay...this is fabulous...I don't care who you are or where you are from...THE University of Texas gal that still rocks n rolls - until the day I die... and just watch my dance moves...just trained... from a family of musicians - I LOVE THIS!

@@tabasco7915 it was very likely not necessarily a "christian" concert... They just played regular venues with regular kids who simply flash the horns because that's just what is done at metal shows. The "horns" as it were have quite a mixed bag of history anyway but one thing you can say is that the prevailing intent is just meaningless ritual salute to driving music not flashing their allegiance or honor to Satan. My comment was more or less to say there is honestly not much to it.

I was told that Michael Sweet had lost his voice, but I see that he is doing well with his voice ... Well, this concert is almost 20 years old, so I don't know how he sings now... BTW Incredible concert !! Good start, good choice for the beginning of the concert! Stryper always knew how to create beautiful backing vocal chords and it's a great pleasure to hear those harmonies live... Could anyone tell me how well Michael Sweet performs today? EDITING: I just saw a 2020 live concert in Monterrey and, yes, Michael Sweet's register changed, the guitarist played higher notes and Sweet's singing was straightforward, it's a great pitty... Usually with a good one technique you can keep your voice strong much longer, and Michael seemed to have a good technique... I just don't know what happened to him.
@rfphill2 жыл бұрын
Gonna see them in a month and I was going through some live vids posted out there and Michael Sweet is unfortunately succumbed to age as any singer of his caliber has. Watching this video and how there are a few things you see on video that isn't on the track, makes me think they boosted the production of the audio after the fact. I haven't seen these guys since probably the early nineties and he was damn near perfect then but this is 2012 and from what I understand from my peers they were this good vocally for quite some time so my guess is they polished this up a bit.
@benireges2 жыл бұрын
Michael is still a great singer. It's just that his voice has deepened over the years so it's hard for him to hit the same notes. And his voice strains out faster. But you should hear him in their newest albums! Absolutely spectacular
