I dont buy as many hard copy cds of music as I used to. But I buy every Stryper release. The music, songwriting, and artwork is always top notch these days. These last few albums are their best in my opinion. Cannot wait for this one!

GREAT interview!!! Being a fan since '85, I feel that everything from No More Hell to Pay through now is the best of the Stryper career!!! I favor them much more than the classic Stryper records, but I still love the classics.

LOVED The Final Battle. So i can't wait for the next one! Brought a few friends with me to the McHenry IL show of the tour last year and they were the type that would've normally not seen Stryper live but they came out converted to how great they truly are. One of my other buds was like "wow, i really misjudged these guys!" Keep at it.

I heard one of the new Stryper songs on KZbin, and it reminds me so much of a song that could have been on To Hell With Th Devil. That Guitar tone has that classic tone, not many bands carry a classic tone over to newer albums!

All of the LA ORIGINALS(That are noted of the main, early 80’s bands to come out of LA!)!: Motley, Wasp, Ratt, Dokken, and Stryper! Or, even realistically, I don’t believe Motley Crue would “lower” themselves to sign on, but definitely, Wasp, Ratt, and Stryper! And I have thought that for years! Triple headlining, or, even extract that terminology, each of them playing an hr., hr. and a half!

I like the old stuff, but it's the new stuff that really got me into Stryper.. Michael I would say to try to get into his word more often, as you mentioned these are the last days. Without knowing his word things will get harder determining the truth as the days get darker. Your also right we love the sinner but not the sin. But we will also need to take a stand on issues like LGBTQ as christians and no matter how hard you try to be careful you will be hated if you don't accept everything they push and this is not just the only issue but it's a big one. I don't think listening to a Satanic song is wise, his word says to avoid every appearance of evil. This is why it's important to know his word. I say this with all love and respect.

I get what mike is saying about singing voices and i agree. But i personally always put micheals voice up with the best of the 80s. Tate, Dio, Halford or Dickinson. His voice was higher range than those guys but as for strength of vocals hes definitely in the tops and id argue that with ANYBODY!!

Jimmy, you mention in this episode that you don't like the bands that Maiden take out as support? There is a simple explanation: you don't listen to these bands because they are newer bands and you don't care about newer bands. You will listen to and support new music put out by legacy bands that you drooled over in high school (ex. Maiden, Priest, Stryper, Anvil, etc.), but overwhelmingly don't give any coverage to newer bands trying to get their footing in an ever more diffcult 21st century music business. And yes, I know, you have interviewed newer bands (ex. Thundermother, The Gems, Lucifer); but for ever 21st century band you give the time of day to, the Maidens of the metal world will still get 100x more attention. But hey, the 20th century is where your strength is, so keep it up. There are plenty of other podcasts that focus on newer bands, or even (heaven forbid) focus on both legacy and newer bands.

No need to interpret the Bible and wonder if you've got it right. The Holy Church has already done that. The Catholic Church, established by Jesus Christ Himself, give you all the tools to be a good Christian. Don't try to be your own church, it'll only lead to confusion.
