"Modern 80's" is a perfect description for Stryper. They have matured and are still killing it, but they keep that old vibe at the same time. Definitely check out some more tunes from them like "The Valley", "To Hell With The Devil", "Transgressor"

Stryper's been around since 1982 & they hit their prime with the 1986 album "To Hell With The Devil" as far as I'm concerned. I liked the lyrics & vocals of this song, but instrumentally it was quite boring, which leads to a solid 8 for me.

You need to let yourself admit it’s a great sound. It may or may not bother you that they are singing about the Creator, but the song is a great one.

Worst song on album boring depressing sluggish ugh

Someone gotta say it what is up with the pace of stryper songs ? Somehow the pace seems off last few albums almost like they can't figure out the right pace seems at times sluggish boring like 1st song had a great pace then second song in album which I do like see no evil sort of sets the tone of the album . Even though album to hell with the devil 2 repetitive at times at least the pace was great nearly every song just had the right speed were as the last couple albums nearly every song missed the mark on its pace to slow and sluggish or a few examples of over the top 2 fast paced exceptions of a couple songs like do unto others ashes to ashes and middle finger messiah
