@@giauscaesar8047 I've begun to pity poor Miranda. Imagine feeling compelled to go after other people merely for their beliefs but then doing it from the complete safety of their keyboard. I would wager my last dollar that there is deep, scarring trauma brought on by a Christian or group of Christians that make her both angry enough to hector people that can't hurt her but also not angry enough to confront her real abusers. Of course, they COULD be dead already so maybe this is the only option she has. Either way, it's sad, really.

I received great pleasure from this communication. I am very glad to see so many young people around, probably more than in our local house of prayer. And most importantly, their parents did not drag them, but they themselves came and listened. Indeed, there is a huge God-shaped hole within us, and we all have a desire to know God to fill the void within ourselves (John 14:15-20).

Tyson Fury's story parellels Stuart's first point perfectly. He talks about it at length in many interviews. He was the heavyweight champion of the world, yet felt extremely empty to the point of wanting to end his own life, and right before he did so he was saved, and has been giving glory to Jesus ever since! I encourage people to look it up for themselves! Tyson had a spiritual battle Deontay Wilders demons in front of the world, and its obvious when you watch the pre fight, and fight itself.

A church agency is meant to orient your greater purpose. Demonations are configurations which believe that their emphasis is functional. God bless them because they are really standing for something viable The issue is when churches practice that desire being discussed. Striving too hard at being conservative over values that they become Martha in preparation. Be like Mary and choose the better portion: relationship with Christ

Absolutely as time is that short! Folks don't have to believe in the rapture to go up that day, but only be born again. And for those left behind, please know you can still be saved. More on that (in a left behind letter format): Dear friend, If you are reading this, it means that a momentous event known as the Rapture has taken place, and millions of people have disappeared from the Earth. You may be feeling confused, frightened, and wondering what happened and what to do next. As someone who cares deeply about you and your eternal future, I want to provide you with a summary of the situation and an urgent appeal. Please read this letter carefully, so that you may begin to understand what you can expect in the years ahead. That said, if this event hasn't happened quite yet, you still have time to do something about it, and to even go up WITH US that day soon (don't waste this opportunity). Summary: The Rapture was the sudden removal of all true Christian believers from the Earth by Jesus Christ. Despite what you may hear from the media, government or even some churches, this was not caused by aliens, climate change or anything else - it was the fulfillment of biblical prophecy. Those taken had genuinely put their faith in Jesus for the forgiveness of their sins. An outline of what has happened and what the Bible says will happen next: I. The Rapture A. All true believers in Jesus were instantly taken to heaven B. Fulfills prophecies in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, 1 Corinthians 15:51-52 II. The Current Situation A. Confusion, chaos, fear in the world B. Lies and deception about what happened C. Many "left behind" who thought they were right with God III. The Importance of Turning to Jesus Now A. Jesus is the only way to be saved (John 14:6) B. Forgiveness is available to all who genuinely repent and believe C. Time is short before the next prophesied events unfold IV. What the Bible Says Will Happen Next A. Rise of the Antichrist world leader B. Institution of the "mark of the beast" system (3 ½ years into the 7 year tribulation period) C. Increasing persecution of those who turn to Jesus D. Escalating judgments on the world (Revelation 6-18) V. How to Survive the Coming Years A. Get a Bible and learn what it says (start with Matthew and read all the way through Revelation) B. Put your faith in Jesus (1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Romans 3:10, 3:23, 5:8, 6:23,10:9-13, Ephesians 2:8-9) C. Refuse to take the "mark of the beast" at all costs! D. Be willing to lay down your life for Jesus if required (as He gave His life for yours) VI. The Return of Jesus A. Jesus will come again at the end of the 7-year Tribulation B. He will defeat the Antichrist and reign forever C. Believers will be with Him for eternity (as you now have that choice to be) VII. An Urgent Appeal A. Don't delay - turn to Jesus now before it's too late B. Heaven and Hell are real - your eternal destination is at stake C. Jesus loves you, died for you, and wants to save you, so you can be with Him forevermore I cannot emphasize enough how critical it is that you turn to Jesus now, confessing you're a sinner, in need of saving, and putting your faith in Him as the ONLY way to be saved. The Bible indicates that the 7-year period of the Tribulation that is about to begin (or perhaps already has depending on when you're reading this) will be a time of unparalleled troubles and judgments on the world. As bad as things may seem now, they are going to get far worse. But you don't have to face this alone. Jesus is mighty to save and will forgive anyone who humbly calls on His name (Romans 10:13) acknowledging their need to receive His blood atonement on the cross to cover the sin debt they owe. No matter what your past or what you have done, His grace is sufficient to cleanse you and make you a new creation in Him (2 Corinthians 5:17). Then, even if you lose your life for Jesus' sake in the coming years, you are assured of eternal life with Him. The alternative is frankly too dreadful to describe. Revelation paints a picture of eternal, conscious torment for those who reject Jesus (Revelation 14:9-11). I plead with you not to harden your heart and put this off. Cry out to Jesus now. Receive His forgiveness, peace and strength for the days ahead. Learn to hear His voice through prayer and studying the Bible. Persevere in faith, even unto death if required, refusing to compromise your loyalty to Jesus as your Savior and King. Today is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2)! My dear friend, I long for you to experience the hope, security, joy and strength that can only be found in a relationship with Jesus. He is coming back soon to reign forever, and I want you to be with Him, and me, in eternal glory. Please don't delay. In Jesus' love, Prayerfully Your Future Brother in Christ

Let me share the gospel with u. See what u think about it: The problem is that we ALL are sinners (especially in our minds and hearts). We ALL are petty, or lustful, or greedy, or jealous, or envious, or selfish, or dishonest, or hold grudges, etc. Those sins leave a filthy disgusting mark on our souls that is NOT erased by our good deeds. Every time we sin, we break God’s rules and rub more putrid sewage on our souls. The problem is that WE can’t clean OURSELVES off. Good deeds don’t cancel out the stain of sin. No matter how kind, generous, and unselfish we are, we cannot “earn” our way into Heaven because we are covered in rotten putrefaction. Compared to the pure sinless, holy glory of almighty God (creator of the universe & our individual souls) how do we look? Disgusting, sinful, corrupt, dishonorable, disgraceful, UNWORTHY. We don’t deserve to be in his presence or to live in the unspoiled magnificent beauty of Heaven. Since God is a just, righteous judge, our sins have consequences. And when we die, the price for our sin is eternal separation from God. But God knew this, and yet he loves us anyway and wants ALL of us to go to Heaven. So what is the solution? God the Father came up with a plan and Jesus (God the Son) agreed to it. Jesus basically volunteered to temporarily abdicate his heavenly throne and leave his Godly powers behind and become just a man. Why? 1. So that he could show all of humanity how to live a perfect, sinless life. 2. Also, thru him, we could personally get to know God the Father. 3. But the MAIN reason was to SAVE us from having to endure the punishment we rightly deserve; to do that, he needed to be punished in our place. He was betrayed, arrested, beaten, slapped, humiliated, spat on, whipped, nailed to a cross, and suffered a slow, horrible, agonizing death (while people mocked him) to pay the price for our sins. That’s why he sacrificed himself… to SAVE us. He was our scapegoat, our whipping boy. But he did it so that all our sins (past, present & future) would be forgiven. He essentially bought our “ticket to Heaven”. 3 days after his death, he rose from the dead in a glorified body and showed he really was the Son of God and that if we trust in him, we too will have eternal life with him. He then holds that ticket out to each of us saying “I love u. I died to save u. Please accept my free gift to u. Do u trust me?” This is not an intellect issue; it is a heart issue. He wants us to open our heart to him and commit to him. God wants this from us: - To have a close personal relationship with him. To talk to him all day about everything: our frustrations, our fears, our successes, our failures, our goals, etc.. He is our loving father, after all. - To be humble before him. - To realize that we are sinners and no matter how many good things we do, our sin will keep us out of Heaven. - To be thankful for Jesus sacrificing himself on the cross to pay the price for our sins. - To feel sorry for our sins. - To make a commitment to try to be more Christlike and stay away from sin. - To realize that he loves us and that we have immense value to him. - To accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. If we do that… Boom… We are saved! The ticket to Heaven is ours! Pretty cool. We can ALL get to Heaven NOT because of what WE DO but because of what JESUS DID. That is the good news of the gospel of salvation thru Christ. It boils down to Jesus saying “I love u. Please trust me”. Now, it is pretty easy to see if u REJECT the sacrifice of God the Son and call it “stupid” or “a fairy tale” or “unnecessary”, God the Father would not be pleased at all. U would basically be saying “I think I deserve Heaven on my own. I am good enough.” So, instead of facing God with a clean slate (totally washed clean by the blood of Christ), u will stand there covered in putrid sin, with your stubborn, self righteous pride, saying “Go ahead and judge me”. How do u think that will go? Does God want us to stop sinning? Of course. We should all be good representatives of Christ, but he knows we are not perfect. Only Jesus was able to live the perfect sinless life. But, God wants us to keep trying. He really likes it when we keep making an honest effort. When we screw up, we need to be sorry and try harder next time…. That is the commitment God wants from us. Do we WANT to be more Christlike and stay away from sin? Yes we do, IF we really understand how valuable we are to Jesus and that he loves us so much that he suffered terribly and died on the cross to save us (personally) from the punishment of our own disgusting sins. We are NOT WORTHY of such a sacrifice. We owe him, big time. We should WANT to please him by being a good representative. When we truly accept Christ as our Lord and Savior, we undergo a change of heart by the Holy Spirit; we are no longer “dead”, we are no longer “lost”…. We are “born again”. Catholicism, like the rest of the denominations, add human-made documents (creeds, etc), procedures (liturgies, etc), titles (bishops, etc), and so on. With Galatians 5, in Paul's letter to churches in Galatia, Paul is emphasizing that Christianity is letting the Holy Spirit guide you to grow your relationship with God, and adhering to physical laws (e.g. circumcision) is the exact opposite (separates you from God). Recommend checking out the church of Christ when you have a chance.

I struggle with the part in the new testament that says divorce isn't God's best but at the same time in Matthew it says do not marry a divorced woman because that's committing adultery. How can one marry a divorced woman because when divorce is not allowed and shouldn't exist according to the Bible? Isn't that contradiction?
@kurtwinslow2670
@kurtwinslow2670 5 ай бұрын
The Bible doesn't teach that divorce isn't allowed. Mark 10:2-9 And some Pharisees came up to Jesus, testing Him, and began to question Him whether it was lawful for a man to divorce a wife. And He answered and said to them, “What did Moses command you?” And they said, “Moses permitted a man TO WRITE A CERTIFICATE OF DIVORCE AND SEND her AWAY.” But Jesus said to them, “Because of your hardness of heart he wrote for you this commandment. “But from the beginning of creation, God MADE THEM MALE AND FEMALE. “FOR THIS REASON, A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER, AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH; so, they are no longer two, but one flesh. “What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.” The discussion continues further. Mark 10:10-12 And in the house the disciples began questioning Him about this again. And He *said to them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her; and if she herself divorces her husband and marries another man, she is committing adultery.” Sometimes due to our sin nature two people can't get along and God has a provision to separate the two, which in God's eyes are one, he allows for divorce. God allows for divorce for adultery and the offended can remarry. Matthew 19:9 God allows for divorce for abandonment and the offended can remary.1Corthians 7:15 The Bible teaches that God hates divorce. Malachi 2:16. The Bible teaches that a believer ought to stay committed to their spouse until death parts them. Romans 7:3 and after a spouse dies the other can remarry. A married believer in Christ ought to display the attitude of 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 towards their spouse. This is the love chapter, the best definition of how one human is to interact with another human especially one's spouse. I hope this adds clarification.

Hi! Godbless you and I love your question. So for context we need to look at when the original law was given on companionship between man and woman, genesis 2:21-25, (men and woman come together as one not to be separated after) then Moses brought to us the Hebrews Old Testament laws. Saying we now have divorce because our hearts were hardened, Deuteronomy 24:1. Then we move to the New Testament, Matthew 19:3-10, where Jesus himself is telling the Pharisees that divorce isn’t what Yahweh instructed us to do, but because men’s hearts were hardened, Yahweh’s mercy on our iniquities was displayed by allowing us to divorce. So by his grace we are allowed to divorce under certain circumstances but it’s not something we should consider as a norm. Also despite me being in certain passages, make sure to read the entire passages for thorough context and true idea of the situations and why things play out the way they do. I hope this helps and may god bless your journey!!

Hi. Former atheist, current Christian and lifelong psychopath here. I used to be angry about unanswered prayers. Why DIDN'T God do what I sincerely wanted? Why DIDN'T he answer my prayers? Then I came to grips with the reality that all my prayers WERE answered. It's just that often the answer was no. We cant assume that when God doesn't grant our requests, that his reason for not doing so is morally insufficient. But, more importantly, if there is no God, these things we wish weren't the way they were are actually the way things are supposed to be. I don't have all the answers so I'd just recommend trusting that God has reasons.

Also lets not forget that the Church played a major role in Crusade wars collected vast wealth killed xxxx number of people from other religion in the process because of "religion" and "interests" also in modern world we have some ongoing conflicts because of religion in general. When did Cliffe and/or Stuart say this? Cliffe did say: "if you are genuine in your faith in Christ" (e.g. started and are growing a relationship with God), "will you be baptized?" What I don't get is how Cliffe's interpretation of Scripture is objectively true. Is it even possible under sola Scriptura to claim one's interpretation as objectively true, or does sola Scriptura by its nature deem all interpretations as subjective? @@mlwilliams4407 Thanks for your courteous response. You said that Cliffe "did share objective truths about baptism, communion, and grace.," but I don't think he did. I think he stated his subjective opinions in an objective form. For example, he said if one has faith one will be baptized, which discounts infant baptism. My point is that Scripture does not give Cliffe or any individual authority to interpret objectively. That right belongs to the Church Jesus founded in MT 16 18-19, which is the "pillar and bulwark of the truth" (1 Tim 3:15). Oh yeah, I almost forgot--in my opinion, lol.

@@brotherdamien1804 Lol on last statement, and thank you too for this wonderful discussion. To break things down together...from God's persective: 1) There's objective truth. They are unbounded and forever, thus true no matter what human(s) currently think/believe. Examples: God is the Creator of the Cosmos. 2+2=4. Humans are imperfect. 2) There's subjective truth. They are currently bounded true attributed to human(s)...and some are potential eventual objective truths. Example: Compliments are nice. The Earth is flat (years ago almost all if not all humans thought the Earth was flat. Some humans eventually had Earth is round subjective truth that eventually become objective truth). The closer the human is to God and His creation together, the naturally closer they are to truth (both objective and subjective)...which does include the objective truth on how a human will get baptized, worship, etc as a result of the human's growing genuine relationship with God and His creation. Outside of objective/subjective truth is human opinion and fact. Infant baptism is a result of human opinion and fact. Yes, Matthew 16:18-19 are powerful verses regarding the eventual establishment of the church that was initially led by the apostle Peter (and granted by Jesus)...including "keys of the kingdom of heaven". This is of course different than the "key of David" from Revelation 3:7 / Isaiah 22:22. Exactly on Paul's letter to Timothy in 1 Timothy 3:15 when it comes to truth and the church (uniting Christians in the spiritual body together with Jesus at the head)!

@@mlwilliams4407 My problem is with authority, meaning to whom did God give the authority to objectively interpret Scripture, say in such fundamental matters such as baptism, salvation, sin and morality, grace, creation, the nature of the Trinity, redemption, the personhood of Jesus, worship, sacraments (not just communion)? I could go on and on. God's children are divided over these issues because the Reformation errantly took authority from the Church (that Jesus gave to it in Mt 16), and gave it to the individual, and ever since then people like Cliffe have been claiming to be able to interpret Scripture objectively. Sorry, but I ain't buying it. I can't help but ask--was one of God's intentions in providing us with the Bible to unite all His children in love and truth in imitation of the Trinity? I think so, but that's not what the Bible has done. It has divided God's children because we read it and disagree about what it says. This can't be the way God intended it. I think an objective authority must exist, since a Trinitarian God, whose nature is unity, can only will unity for His children. I think the authority is the Church Jesus founded on Peter. What do you think it is?

@@brotherdamien1804 Humans definitely get in their own way...especially when they aren't truly treating Jesus as "the way the truth and the life", and the Bible as "God-breathed". My recommendation for all humans (including Christians) is to strive for curiosity and humility. This allows God and His truth to reveal Himself / itself unfettered by human imperfection (receiving/processing/being) as much as possible. Right, as Christians grow their relationship with God and His creation (including the Bible) together, they become closer to Them/them (in knowledge and being), thus live truths (in Bible, science, etc) more completely and accurately over time. Basically, the best human sources for God's truth are the most spiritually mature/maturing Christians...and even then, they are not perfect because they are humans. Now, an ever growing (in quantity) united/uniting spiritually mature/maturing group of Christians together is the best source, but doesn't currently exist (that I'm currently aware of). The most spiritually mature/maturing Christians are usually geographically dispersed individuals. Cliffe is pretty spiritually mature, but doesn't appear to be maturing anymore. He's with his son who's also spiritually maturing, but it's just the two of them. Cliffe and Stuart do miss the mark sometimes, but they usually are sharing God's truths. Thoughts? Great thoughts and questions too! Wish more beings would engage in spiritually healthy conversations like this.

If there wasn’t Jesus so before Jesus what evidence is there that there is a God why did people before Jesus’s time have so much faith in God and just so you know I believe the life of Jesus

Imagine seeing and then walking though a supernaturally parted sea, or being apart of one of a ton of various supernatural events. More important than those...imagine hearing about a logical, loving, and profound way of life that includes a relationship with the Creator of Existence!
