Have always loved your stuff, Stuart. Glad to see you competing - nice sweep attempt at the beginning. We always called that The Cowboy Sweep at my gym (not sure what you call it) but if you had that arm he was going over! That one is so satisfying.

Haha yeah that’s my new favourite sweep. The “John Wayne” Sweep 😂

Good jiujitsu! You're built! How much lifting/resistance training do you do or is it all just jj? If you don't mind sharing, what about supplementation? Thanks!

Thanks! I started working with proper strength & conditioning coach about a year ago. So now I lift pretty much 5 times a week. I only go heavy lifting once or twice a week at the most though. The other days is a lot core/ balance work & the knees over toes workouts. I get my pre/ post workout supplements from www.betterthroughbiology.com They have some great stuff on there called nectar, iridescence, NAD + & Glutathione

I'm sure you've got to train with some of the best teams, throughout your filmmaking journies, but who did you train with regularly? Just curious where you "cut your teeth," as they say. You looked great in competition! It's really cool to see you starring on the best damn bjj highlights channel.

Thanks! I was in the U.K. training with my professor Lucio Sergio dos Santos up until purple belt. Then I was training primarily no GI at tiger Muay Thai for many years.

Do you run your own gym?
@stuartcooperfilms15 күн бұрын
I’m teaching at a gym called impact at the moment. The goal is to open my own gym once I find the right location
