This week, we’re bringing you the eighth video from a series that we call Home Coffee Brewing with April.
We believe that innovation in coffee brewing starts at home, and that some of the most special and meaningful interactions with coffee can take place within your own kitchen.
As we are travelling frequently travelling visiting our international partners, we decided to introduce this format as a way to interact with you on a different level whilst maintaining the frequency of our videos.
We’re still on our travels, this time around meeting with Stuart to brew some washed processed Colombian Papayo from Asylum Coffee Roasters using our April Plastic Brewer and paper filters.

I love using glass! Especially with hot coffee cause it gets cooler faster than plastic or steel and I love when hot coffee starts cooling down, I find more delicious notes as it cools

It clearly makes a difference. Then what should be taking into consideration is that a range of particle size generates a level of complexity that can be interesting. But if you never tried it before we recommend you do.

We are about to launch an espresso version of these videos, and Stuart has an espresso machine at home, so hopefully, we get the opportunity to do it. Did you know that he also runs an interactive dining experience?

@@azza2575 we will do our best to make that happen in the future. But before that we are recording in Kenya, Denmark, South Korea, Taiwan and Bangkok.

@@coffeewithapril arguing about math? Haha. Makes me think it would be worth trying a sifter though and interesting to think about the term “washed” not really being a standard thing.

@@BoneOrchard It's for sure changing. The idea of washed. Some put "washed" on the bag, a coffee that went through a long series of different fermentation styles. Perhaps "Traditional" or "classic" washed would be a better word do use. What do you think?
