I’m a visitor in Thailand when I live there. Which I do 6 months out of the year. I love the Thai people and I would never treat my host people that way. I hope that man was only on a way time vacation trip. I’m tired of farangs treating my host this way. All farangs are not rude and disrespectful.

I really appreciate your comment and thank from my heart. Jub jub 55555.
To all foreigners and tourists out there thinking of visiting Thailand (or already staying in Thailand), please learn a little of Thai cultures and be respectful towards Thai people. Thailand was already overflowed with foreigners and tourists from around the world, so we really do not have to tolerate any more rude and barbaric behavior from any of you guys. Please leave your "trailor-park culture and mannerisms" right where you came from. For those who respect and love Thai cultures, we Thai people will welcome you always.

No, you must be nice and respectful to tourists. Tourist don't need Thailand, there are other better destinations, but Thailand does need tourists.

@waixingren4198 sure, we do. But we don’t need those that act like an ignorant fool, just like this one!

From my point of view, i think he is just insane. When you meet this kind of person, just ignore him. He is not happy with himself and so he wanted to drag people around him down to his low vibration.

But he is off the mark in his analysis and comments. I disagree with him,
The awareness of EQ should be universal. Why we just can’t keep calm with these small issues and how on earth someone dare to say that ‘fuck’ is a not a rude one. His gaslighting skill was on another level omg

The F word is rude anywhere. He frustrated and started to cursed at people. I like how you explained thing in an appropriate way without sound like taking anyside.
Thank you, Jay. It's obvious that recism is in the foreigner's subconscious mind and he can't hide it when he's angry. A decent human would treat others kindly especially with women and foreigners. I think he toned down when the Thai woman started to raise her voice and make a scene because his situation became insecure. Others might become involved and he would be in trouble. People like that probably are suppressed in their own society.

Yes, you are right. He sounds like from a low social status.
As an American from the Midwest, I can attest that New Yorkers, UKers, and Aussies swear a lot more frequently than we do. Millennials and Gen-Zers tend to swear more frequently, I think due to media influence. But I would never find myself saying "get the F out of my way" on a train or bus. What I'm NOT going to do is condemn or defend this farang, though. Once the Thai media has gotten ahold of it, I call it a Thai issue. I think what you're doing is good and it's also a good way to increase your Thai audience. This kind of dialogue is helpful. But what I can stand is all of the Farang on FB groups who jump on a bandwagon to condemn a certain farang, as if it increases their Thai Social Credit Score (TM). Again, I'm a weirdo in this way, but I know that many people on this side of the world are going to stereotype me based upon other farang no matter what I do, so I don't try to get brownie points by attacking a foreigner.
Thank you so much for your linguistic and cross-cultural sharing to Thai audience. If this presentation is also in English, it will be helpful to other non-Thai audiences to be aware of interacting with local people while in Thailand.
Farangs listen to me. "English language is not My mother tongue and Thailand has never been colonize like yours." This is Thailand, not yours. Thai people are Thai citizens.
@Stinkyfish7233 ай бұрын
You weren’t colonized because your Kings made concessions to the British repeatedly and it suited the British and French to have a buffer between Burma and Vietnam. Try reading a book.
