Stuck Case Series Introduction

If you are reloading bottle neck cases sooner or later your going to end up with a stick case in your resizing die. I have been reloading since 1972 or so and (knock on wood) I have been able to avoid getting a case stuck so far... but I know that I have been lucky, so I put this little kit together for when I do get one stick. I will be doing a 3 part series on different ways to get stuck cases out using 3 different methods.

nice work papa..... I do use and like the RCBS kit.... it uses a Allen head bolt and wrench

I used what I had around... maybe when I go into town I can look at Ace Hardware and see what they have... an allen head would be preferable. Thanks

I have had a few stuck cases over the years for various reasons, never would I spend that kind of money to remove a piece of brass, I have always got them out with a pair of pliers and a hammer 🤣🤣

Most people look at it as either spending that money to get the die back in action or having to buy a new die... me, I wouldn't spend the prices they want for them because I know better and also because I don't have the money. LOL

I had it happen once in a vid. 😂 luckily it was a Lee die so you could tap the stem out. 👍

That is one of the benefits of the Lee design... built in stuck case remover.
