Outstanding. Just don't put your truck weight or jack stands under those control arms. They are just welded sheet steel and not designed to hold up a truck and could damage or fail.

If you had used the heat directly on the knuckle instead of heating everything evenly with a turkey burner it would have expanded the socket enough to aid the removal process... the large and even applied heat caused everything to expand evenly

Im doing this with my 02. It was a battle just getting the four bolts out of the back of the hub assembly but now I cannot get the axle nut removed. I have tried every possible technique I can think of penetrating fluid wax heat with a torch long breaker bars of pipes on them using a jackto try to spend the nut free nothing has been working

Buy a 3/4 inch drive breaker bar, the right size socket, and use a very long pipe as a cheater bar.
