Do you have to start all your turns from the baseplate? Or can you build on your opponents bridge?

Great question! We have required to start each turn from the baseplate on a new plot in order to follow all the steps in the directions!

@@StudCity starting from the baseplate. How will you get sufficient bridges to get “up in the heights?” Or will that automatically come after several runs

I will take 1 monkey and 0 bananas as I am allergic to bananas - Love the idea - watching Christo playing the game I feel like I am about 3 bricks short of understanding! I am one that needs to do and not just watch to figure it out!

This looks as good as the ludo Game Lego did back in 2018. Will I get this, probably not to save money. Though if it was a jungle gym game with minifigs, I would definitely get it. That's why I got 2 copies of the ludo game years ago and have broken both down for parts.
