I am happy they are trying to reduce the amount of raw gold people can pump into the economy because of bots/multi-boxers, but they just killed this system they just built instead of making vendor items not able to be DE'd or reduce the gold you get from boosting an item with relic 5. Sadly this has been the story of SL. Instead of adding simple fixes they have been killing off systems left and right so they aren't meaningful anymore.

@@manwalkful Thats my point though, they could have nerfed the shuffling aspect of it without adding a cost to counter shuffling. They could have 1. Made vendor gear not able to be de'd. 2. Reduce the sell cost of crafter gear. 3. Instead this disincentivizes people from using the system for which is was built. Why would I want to spend the amount of gold needed to make any of these items that I will replace in 30 minutes. Classic Blizzard move to fix a problem by adding another problem.

Like everyone else, I was almost 100% certain this would get nerfed so I didn't spend a single copper on cloth...just time farming, which time is money friend, but it still just pisses me off that Blizz couldn't take 2 seconds to make a tweet saying not to do this because its not finalized which would put everyone's fears to rest. I'm really glad I was only stockpiling from the transmog farms I was already doing. I'm gonna hold onto what I got, just in case the value goes up later, or the amount of thread needed is reduced to a more manageable number. Even if it's a small profit, I have two active accounts...so I could still theoretically shuffle. If it goes live this way, then oh well, I guess I have enough cloth to make transmog for the rest of forever! I might even buy more cheap cloth up...while I can.

i am not even mad when i frist heared about the relics and got deep into it i knew that it was goin to be nerfed. even before any of the youtubers made a video about them, i bought every runecloth it took me couple of bank alts and guild banks but i managed to get hold of 250k runecloth.and when it got cool to farm them i dumped them to ah for 15 and sold overnight now i am sitting with me 3.7mil gold and chilling

Realistically, unless you're already sitting on about 4.2 million or so it won't happen for you. However the mount is going to the BMAH so it's not gone forever, just much harder to aquire. Follow the guide and there's a solid chance you will be sitting at a million by the time SL hits, I think 1M a month is a real solid expectation.

Invested around 150k into mats early on and over time. Put everything on the action house last night shortly after the update and got about ~300k back in sales. Still ok for a emergency dump and have a lots of bolts/cloth that hasn't sold. That's the advantage of catching trends early, since I bought the cloth/hides for an average of 20s.

I went on the PTR, the total of the mats are 32g. Right now I can still make the wands and sell them for 83g. So with people mass selling the mats super cheap, still going to be a profit in it. Its just not nearly as good.

Where do you get them for a total of 32g? The rank 5 relics need 25 of the shadowland reagents which are over 4g per piece so you are looking at more than 100g for a single relic in vendor mats alone.

Should be ezpz if you've played for more than a month or two. Just stay at it and be consistent with reposts without huge undercuts and gold will flow in before you realize it. You've got plenty of time left to get shadowlands if not a longboi.

@@OV3NM1TT Disenchanting the green staff takes around 2,5s which yielded 2,5 greater essences/7,5 lesser essences on average = 0,33s/lesser essence. Creating the relic of the past = 2,2s Crafting the high level wand with the relic = 1,75s All together 0,33+2,2+1,75 = 4,33s ... let's say 5 seconds as you have to buy the staff and sell the wands. So basically you could craft 720 wands in 1 hour. And 720x83g = 59760g, which is not 90k but would still have been absolutely ridiculous. I do not know any farm that can generate that amount of gold in 1 hour. Glad they nerfed it.
