Student, 18, arrested in school threat that sparked panic in Broward, Miami-Dade districts

A Coral Springs high school student has been arrested in connection with a school shooting threat that sparked panic Friday in several other local school districts.

This very same message seemed to go to one of our students in so California on Thursday night. On Friday, most students were not in school and a number of staff were out. There were more adults than students. Most classes had 2-4 kids, a couple of periods had no kids at all. I later found that countless schools around the country somehow had this threat to student emails and most people kept their kids out of the school. Sadly, a failure for the district to communicate effectively to staff and parents has become a big issue to create safe environments.

Social Media posts on threatening a school need to STOP _immediately_ because even one post like this could cause a lot of panicking in that school.

why do schools have 18 year olds in thier system in the first place. they are adults and this woman proves they a threat to young kids.. they need to stop letting adults attend as students
