In this video, Stuart from @givemeananswer answers the questions "Why Jesus?" and what follows is an important conversation about Truth. What is it? Where does it come from? Is it knowable? Is it universal?
In the process, the incoherance of Post Modern thought takes center stage as Stuart reasons with this amiable undergrad in hopes of showing him that Jesus the answer. I hope you enjoy!

I can agree with what he said, but I don't think he's living by that very process (obtain information > verify/disprove > believe > seek more truth/information). If we don't challenge the information it's blind obedience (which in my opinion, results in a very fragile belief). We all have to establish veracity - each persons process may vary in length and depth before they achieve acceptance, but there should always be a process.

Yes but wide is the path that leads to destruction and narrow is the way that leads to eternal life and only a few find it. There is no ecumenical way to God. Jesus is the way the truth and the life no one comes to the father except through him that is the exclusive claim made by Jesus Christ himself only through him alone can we be reconciled back to God and receive eternal life only by shed Blood on the cross can we be forgiven only by being born again by the Holy Spirit can we enter the kingdom of heaven

That's not what faith is. Read hebrews11:1. It's evidence of the things not yet seen. So if by heart you mean some kind of feeling then you are mistaken

@@O_tropos I agree with this, but I think he meant maybe in terms of faith that faith can only come from yourself and it can't be given to you. Sure the Holy Spirit can work in you through others, but faith in Christ is something that you need to "conjure" through the Spirit. The evidence shows that faith in God is not blind just like climbing on a plane...you need enough evidence to trust the plane and then take a leap of faith and hope that that plane can get you to your final destination.

They want proof.. Problem is they have no clue we use Evidence. It's how you convict people in court. As the jury does not have to be there to witness it. To figure out if the person is guilty. And the worst part of his argument. He used gravity in his argument. As we have no clue what Gravity is 400 years later.. We only see the effect. As it's prediction is reliable enough. We teach it as fact in every Science book on the planet. So if you don't know what Gravity is. But it's reliable enough to teach as fact. Then the Gospel is reliable enough on the Resurrection. Its so hard to pin down empty post-modernist arguments like this. As soon as you get a hold on something they say or define and try to show it for what it truly means, they change the language slightly and it oozes out of your grasp like slime. That said, Stuart did a wonderful job.

His own analogy worked against him. The fact that the doctor can’t force the person to take the right medicine doesn’t make the medicine any less correct. The patient CAN decide not to take it. We aren’t talking about a persons personal right about what they can believe. God IS like the doctor in the sense he allows everyone to believe as they wish. The argument is that Christianity is the only correct belief, just as the medicine is the only correct option. You can reject it. Heck you can pick a whole lot of different medicine options other than the one prescribed by the doctor. But the only way you are going to make it out alive is to accept the doctors medicine. In the same way, the only way is Jesus

Exactly SILLY ATHEISTS TRIX ARE FOR KIDS 🤣. Stuart is following his father Cliffe Knechtle's footsteps as he's been doing this for decades answering questions and speaking FACTS 🔥. I was raised Christian but I became an agnostic and atheist at 17-19 years old until I started studying religious beliefs, Christianity and Apologetics Happy Pentecost season brothers, sisters and everyone else He's Alive forevermore AMEN 🙏 ❤️ 👏. This has nothing and everything to do with the video but please listen if you want to otherwise leave it alone and ignore it. Hello my name is Justin and I'm a fellow Christian and Apologist but I'm also a college graduate. I'm not a closed minded Theist as I have nothing against Atheists or unbelievers as I speak to them often to understand their reasons for unbelief but we as Christians are convinced of God's Existence due to many real factors). I'm not trying to convert anyone or convince anyone to become Christians as that's The Holy Spirit's job to help people believe but only explain why I believe in Jesus Christ. There's actually evidence of God's Existence in Christianity. First of all there's proof that Jesus of Nazareth existed in history since the writings of Tacitus, Josephus Flavius, Pliny the younger and other historical documents prove that He was living two thousand years ago that even scholars both religious and Atheists agree with historically speaking but not that He's The Divine Son of God because obviously they don't. I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict. Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Jesus The Christ loves you enough not to give you what we all deserve which is God's Wrath by His Own Blood. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers. Evolution makes no sense when nothing has evolved after thousands of years of human history and supposedly the first creature came from primordial sludge several millions of years ago funny how they won't believe that God an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being created us from the Earth) which came from a supermassive expansion of matter at high temperature that inexplicably created everything in the known universe that supposedly came from nothing billions of years ago. How did the organs evolve before there were bones, skin, substance and how did any creatures see before eyes evolved? I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" and I'm not convinced of macro Evolutionary biology whereas I accept micro Evolution like speciation and adaptation but not macro Evolution because there's no evidence of it nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word. Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. His descent into frivolity horrifying let us pray that God helps prevent his descent, may God touch his soul to help bring him out of this spiritual blindness and to finally be able to see what truth actually is, Mr Knectle touched on it when he talked about the laws of nature, and math. *sigh* I get so tired of that phrase "atheistic worldview" There is no worldview. An atheist is someone who hasn't been convinced to believe in a god". Period. There is not one other thought or belief or idea that ALL atheists share. There is no atheistic worldview. There are atheists who don't accept the Big Bang. There are atheists who don't accept evolution. There are atheists who believe in fairies, crystals, magic, spirits, ghosts, etc., with zero evidence for any of those things. And this guy's "logic" is utterly embarrassing. You and I agree on that, at least. The number of people who believe a thing has nothing to do with whether or not that thing is true. That is NOT an atheistic stance, either. By that logic, since over half the world believes in some kind of god, that would mean god is mostly true. That's not how facts work.

It feels like the man has not taken the time to truly give this deep thought. Like much of society today, we latch onto “science is the only answer” or other popular beliefs, without delving deeper. We dont want to be perceived as crazy for believing something we are unable to scientifically prove. We dont spend time quietly with our thoughts to pressure test them. We spew out others opinions as our own and hope to be accepted. If people truly took the time to think, and continue to peel back the onion layer by layer, I think they would arrive at the answer that God truly exists. That can be scary if youve lived your whole life denying that. I recognize this man does believe in God, but it seems surface deep and if he goes deeper, he’ll arrive at greater appreciation and the door will be open to truly listen to the message of Jesus and why he was indeed God in human form.

People love a God with no identity because then they can then shape Him into whatever they want Him to be. Which is also why Christ is so important. Find out what he believes so you can see the way to his heart and mind. Make peace first so he will listen to you.

So , with his logic, I truly was 3/5 a person at one time. A huge amount of people agreed on this.......fact.

The 3/5 of a person part of the Constitution was actually about protecting free states. In the House of Representatives, the number of Representatives a state has is based on the state's population. The problem was that the slave states wanted to count their slaves as part of the population in order to increase their power in congress--but slaves weren't allowed to vote. That gave slave owners a disproportionate amount of voting power. The 3/5 person aspect was a comprimise, telling the slave states that they were only allowed to count 3/5 of their slaves as part of the general population, so they wouldn't be grossly overrepresented and threaten the free states with enforced federal slavery laws. Tragically, this opened the door to interpretations that were very damaging to alot of people. No one is less than 5/5 of a person.

Kudos for spotting the logical flaw. I hope you also learn the truth of the compromise. You were never 3/5 a person.

Objective morality means that moral statement P can be true or false If god says P is good, we still can not verify P as being true or false. All we can say is how god feels about P. Proposition "God thinks P is moral" can be true or false while proposition "P is moral" can not

This liberal mindset comes from Protestantism. They were first to say that you don’t need the Church to be guided towards God which opened the gate for this self/human centred view on faith. This evolved to liberalism which historically peaked at US campuses.

The issue was in fact pragmatism, the Catholic clergy told believers to subscribe in a dogmatic manner to extra biblical teachings while Protestantism was seeking to restore the divine scriptures as the sole authority of the Christian faith which, btw, is what the Bible is saying where it is written that faith comes from hearing the word of God and when in book of Acts, there were Bereans examinating scriptures to make sure what they heard came from the scriptures. The liberal mindset emphasizes individual freedoms but it turns out to be quite dogmatic or even more so than the Catholic clergy, they have their own woke theology (fluid identities, sin of white priviledge ect.) and simply replaced the pantheon of saints by the scientific community..

@@NeonDemon88 well, the Pope may say whatever he wants but he cannot change the Credo or core beliefs. Contrary to Protestants who make up their own little churches and every body ends up believing in anything they want. In the Church there is well established process of what can be changed in the teachings and what cannot. Btw, this deviation first leaked into Protestant churches from the world and then via ecumenical dialogue to the Church. So we are not immune to the the falsehood, but one has to remember where it originated and how.

I’m not a full Christian, but I’m on my way. Every time that I look into these videos I have the feeling that the ones that don’t believe are crazier and more ignorant than believers in term of philosophy and reality. The amount of fallacies used by them is disheartening. I do think you need to be a believer to be able to build an internal cosmology based on truth within you. We have this natural need of worship that when don’t put in the correct place, the holy and divine, this is what we become. This is very enlightening to be honest.
