I'm planning to move completely from the U.S. to Berlin to study there. I may become a German resident. Do I have to wait until I graduate high school before I apply? I plan on living in a student residence hall... Between semesters, am I allowed to remain living there? I'd have nowhere else to go since I am an international student. Sorry if it's a silly question!!

I really like the way you formated the video it was veey easy to understand even though i dont speak german. It seems very inexpensive to live in germany based on what you said! i live in ottawa canada and i pay $1,500 cad (or about 1,070 euros) for everthing you just listed. But, in all my travels i have noticed that on average everthong in canada ia usually double the price it is in other countries. for example in ottawa we pay the most for electricity in the entire western hemisphere... im moving to Deutschland

Zuerst ein riesen KOMPLIMENT!! ;) Tolle, hilfreiche Videos!

Hi, I know it's a bit out of date, but what about living expenses in Berlin right now? Counting housing food, etc (I can keep my expenses low, but I am unsure as to how much I will need). And besides that, how hard is it in 2016 to get a job in the city?(as a student). Thank you!
@StudyinGermany_de8 жыл бұрын
Hi,Compared to other European countries, the cost of living in Germany is quite reasonable. The prices for food, accommodation, clothing, cultural events, etc. are basically in line with the EU average. You will need around 670 euros per month to cover your living expenses. The largest expense is your monthly rent. For more information, see the section on money and costs www.study-in.de/en/plan-your-stay/money-and-costs/There are many possibilities to earn money during your studies. Most of these (rich) foreign students don't want (socially-cultural) exchange and dialogue, they only want to take advantage of the opurtune circumstances, and if it is for some troubles (for example with the langauge, learning it - some don't, talk English instead).
