The university I attended in the mid 2000's was about $1600/semester. That same university today is $8200/semester. Why? Because Obama nationalized all the loans and made it so everyone gets the loan approved, regardless of the amount. Schools saw this and raised the hell out of the prices because of this. If anyone is a predator, it's the universities.

Yes we will also own: Historical 3.4% unemployment, 12 million jobs created in the first two years of Biden's presidency and more than 13 million new jobs at this point in time which is the fastest job creation ever of any president in US history and at this point in Biden's presidency, more jobs have been created than in the entire 4 years of treasonous traitorous anti America Insurectionist Criminal Trumpy's presidency😄. A manufacturing boom with more than 800k manufacturing jobs created. Black and Minority Unemployment at historical low. Veterans Unemployment also at historical lows. The US under Joe Biden's leadership has the highest postpandemic gdp growth and the Lowest Inflation amongst the G7 countries. Inflation has now dropped 11 months in a row to it's lowest point in 2 years. Inflation has been dropping consistently for the past six months to 6.5% from 9.1% in June of 2022. Compared with peak gas prices, the current average represents a roughly 30% decline since June 2022, The yearly national average price of gas in 2023 is forecast to drop nearly 50 cents per gallon from that of 2022 to $3.49, according to GasBuddy's 2023 Fuel Outlook released this past Friday.Jan 9, lo 2023. Joe Biden has passed more than 300 Bipartisan bills since taking office which is more than any other president in the past century ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/r4XWk2x3jcaHgc0). NATO Alliance is back and stronger than ever especially in their military support for Ukraine in her fight for freedom and democracy against an evil dictator who happens to be Trumpy's puppet master😄. US economy have made the fastest recovery from the Covid era more than any country on earth 👏. Biden's legislative accomplishments in his first two years have be riveting and amazing. He signed the American Rescue Plan just a couple months after taking office, followed by a major infrastructure bill last fall. Most recently Biden signed the inflation reduction act into law. Actually Biden's greatest strengths is Republicans underestimating him by calling him Senile😄 and that's exactly how he was able to defeat Trumpy in 2020 and destroy the so called Red Wave that never came in 2022. So let's keep riding the winning Dark Brandon train to victory for USA USA USA 🇺🇸 😀 especially in 2024😄 Like Trumpy, Are u tired of winning 🤔😳😄 Plus the Chinese balloon entered US Airspace three times under Trumpy's watch as president and he did nothing but hide that information from the American public 😉 😳🙄 😀 And we are still waiting for Trumpy's Infrastructure Week🙄😉😄

It's actually more deeper than what you've touched on. The government is also making interest off the social security accounts, that are created under our names at birth generating millions in money over our lifetimes. This, because of Roosevelt in the 30s getting America to turn all its gold in to establish the federal reserve and ,thus creating the monetary system (dollar bills, pennies, nickels, dimes). Read up on title 15 United States code consumer law. Everything we have been taught was a lie. Definitions of words is all I'll say. Do your research and you'll understand what I'm referring to. Those videos on KZbin of people in court claiming to be sovereign citizens and we all watch thinking they're insane...it's actually got some credibility. There's a traffic stop on KZbin of a gentleman that's pulled over for no plate and says "I'm traveling and breaks down his rights" and he sits there with his family on camera in the car over an hour. Eventually the cops let him go because they had no jurisdiction to cite him for civil infractions or to be able to fine him. Watch it. There's so much and the saying about "corporate america" is true...I could go on. I'm a tax paying citizen in the middle class, I believe government is essential to keep the world from becoming the wild west but now that I know the lie we all live under its hard to ignore and eye opening. Do what you will with this comment, believe what you'd like I just offer you the opportunity to look into what I've stated here. Take care

Yes, these borrowers promised to pay the principal and interest. And they did! The banks just didn't apply funds to the principal properly. The issue with the IDR is loan services like Navient breeched contract and as a contractor the Department of Education is accountable for the breech of contract issue. Legally borrowers could sue Navient and the department of education directly for damages. Canceling them will prevent hundreds of thousands of lawsuits which would be more expensive for the federal government. That said, the real core problem is not solved, nor do any Congress people wish to solve the core issue, which is out of control cost caused by student loans. By going through the finance system it makes everything multiple times more expensive. But I am sure this is preferred in congress because they will upset schools, banks, derivative holders, and loan management industries. We could simply fund higher education like it used to be funded. But lobbyists don’t want that.

Too many people simply not understanding the problem here. These loans that were forgiven weren't borrowers that got over their heads and didn't want to (or were able to) pay. These are borrowers that repaid as agreed but he lenders didn't apply the payments properly and left these loans not fully repaid. For example, maybe they kept applying principal payments to future interest payments to keep the principal higher than it should be... to keep the interest payments higher than they should be. But besides that, why are people so quick to complain about borrowers who DO make a mistake and shouldn't be bailed out... but were perfectly fine with businesses and corporations being bailed out when they make multi-billion dollar mistakes to enrich themselves?

You're so right about people not understanding what's happening here. Everyone nowadays is so focused on being divided or playing for team red or blue...I really wish they would not call it "forgiveness". It's simply the DOE honoring the terms of the contracts for people who have been paying for 20-30 years. So many don't realize that the loans taken out back then- FFEL were moved around without anyone's permission to various lenders that added compounded daily interest in excess of 2-3 times the original amount borrowed...And now that the 20-25 years have come due- there are lenders- Navient being one of the worst that don't want to see the the contract honored and continue to try and collect money as they continue adding more interest when the terms are over!
@TheRfGuy
@TheRfGuy Жыл бұрын
@@littlegypsiesattic515 As someone that paid off my loans right before COVID happened, I was a little self-centered when I thought about loan forgiveness. But I knew how tough that position can be when coupled with making this huge financial decision at the age of 18. It is easy to fall into "Team Red" and "Team Blue" as you call it (which is a great metaphor). But in this case, it really should be "Team Middle Class." Make it right.
