STUDENT PILOT IFR FLIGHT - DA42 WITH ATC AUDIO - HOW TO FLY IFR

In this video, I'm going to show you how to fly IFR by bringing you along for an IFR flight from Oxford to Gloucester, in the airways, as part of my MEIR training.
I am currently doing my flying training to achieve my dream of becoming a commercial pilot and in this video, I will be taking you along to see what I get up to on one of my flights on the twin-engine aircraft. In this video, we have a standard routing into the airways en route with the addition of ATC audio so you guys can hear.

You’re a lucky man doing this! I’m doing my PPL, training from Gloucestershire airport and work on the site of one the decommissioned nuclear reactors your examiner pointed out. I’m too old to be doing this as a career but it’s great to watch someone else living the dream. Good luck with it 👍

Interesting to see you flying multi before commercial. In the U.S. you wouldn’t want to get your multi rating until you have commercial pilot privileges.

I was the same when I was watching flying videos! It is a little easier in real life yes, but you get used to it when flying!
