Good luck for the future, I am a 63 year old bloke ( I had an intense fear of flying with claustrophobia until I was 45 ...but conquered it through studying it from the ground up so I could understand why and how it is safe ) who isn't a pilot but is fascinated by flying. In the US we have what we call “homeless” pilots.. since each trip you’re in a different city each night for the most part. If you actually schedule enough trips properly together.. you’ll never really have to be not working and/or in a non airline paid hotel lol.. so there are actually a lot of pilots who just travel and work without ever having an actual house or apartment.. some stay with family or friends when they are off but that’s it. Especially the single ones. Pretty neat to see how uncommon that is in Europe.

All pilots do now is talk off an land. The entire flight is guided by radar. Saying you’re a pilot nowadays is like saying you're a bus driver

so how long would the working day be from the time you leave the house to when you get back?

It’s going to cost me $15,000 for my RPL (recreational pilots licence) $25/30,000 for PPL and $80,000 for my ATPL in Australia and I’m 32 and will be starting at 34.

well the thing is, my parents agreed to pay half of the money i need for my money (160k total so they pay around 80k) and then rest i take loan but they say I have to and i mean have to go to university which i dont rlly want, idk what to do

During the flight I asked about scholarships and they said there are loads of them but i cant find any for 14 yr olds. What should i do? Do you have any recommendations. Also have you got any tips for being accepted for scholarships. Love the vids. One day i'll be up there like you. 😁
