Hopefully! Because wow, I was not expecting to like it as much as I did! 🙌 I went into the show blind essentially , because I was not aware of the original before this! Nonetheless, it's a very entertaining show and has many interesting layers!

I’d convinced myself I was going to hate this show having grown up with the original but honestly they nailed it, it was funny, sad, thought provoking I hope they get the audience numbers as I’d love to see a season 2

i think they made everyone experimenting/questioning things, rather than making them all canonically gay. so aside from darren, cash, sasha, missy, quinni.. everyone else who engages in homosexual acts, are in a questioning/experimental phase-thing. but more people are coming out in and feeling safe with their sexuality in this day and age, so i guess they wanted to reflect that in the show

That was the main thing I found also, they really tried to force gay into the series that they made pretty much everyone gay..... is that how it is for kids now days? Are majority gay?

@@dazzafarr i would say so - but also lots of kids/teens/whatever are also just experimenting a lot and although unsure of their sexuality, they at least feel more comfortable to experiment i think. but yeah, lots of people do seem to be coming out more now than then

@@dazzafarr i don’t think they were trying to force it, it was very realistic to me because in this day and age people in their teens feel more comfortable with exploring their sexuality. it might’ve seemed forced just because until recently, most films and shows only show heterosexual relationships between people since it was the “norm”. the world is changing and i loved all the representation!

@@lil4467 thats great to cover all sexual preferences.... maybe the school just has heaps of gay people. It could be possible they might all be gay? Maybe we are underestimating how gay this school is? I reckon everyone needs to get their gay on and go full gay mode
