Students protest ‘furries’ presence at school; admin say problem isn’t real

Students at Mt. Nebo Middle School in Utah staged a walkout on Wednesday, April 17, protesting what they claim is the presence of “furries” in their school. However, school officials refute these allegations, stating that the protest is based on misinformation.

So people claiming to be victims of a culture that perpetuates victimhood. HYPOCRISY and complete double standard thinking. Nobody is wearing a fursuit to school on a daily basis. You might see one for a special occasion, however, they usually get permission beforehand. This is bitching for the sake of bitching. It is protesting something that doesn’t happen. If your kid says they are getting bitten THEY ARE LYING.

i dont see how furries are a problem in school, most of the ones that i meet are completely reasonable and don’t wear furry paraphernalia during school hours. in fact, the reason why so many people hate furries are based on false reasons, and most of the reasons provided in articles (especially ones written by people on the right wing) are biased and follow strict stereotypes that furries have been trying to fight off for decades. so no, furries dont act like animals, furries dont think they are animals, furries do not bite, lick, or bark at people, furries are normal human beings whos image has been tainted by the mormon majority especially in utah and people who fell down the alt-right pipeline. furries are not pedophiles, furries are not zoophiles, furries are none of these harmful stereotypes you oh so wish to push to support your narrative
