It is all about molding children into what THEY want. Think about it. Kids spend how many hours at school? 7 hours. Siblings are always separated in schools! It's a full time job. Then they are given " busy work" ( their word not mine)to take home. They tell kids it's homework. And they have hours of that. Parents have to tell kids they can't go out because of all of this work. When are kids allowed the freedom to be kids? At school recess? Or sports where, again they are with who...more teachers. Usually left leaning or full blown. And they are indoctrinated with their beliefs. NOT yours!!! We pulled out kids put of school and homeschooled. In 3 hours a day we accomplish much more than the 7 teachers had. We are Extremely close as a family. Their friends would call me to our house for school help. Even now, in college, they come to my boys. And my boys scored much higher in testing. And they were allowed to follow their own interests in their free time. My oldest got his first job at 13. He set up a call center and all of the computers for his father's doctor's office. 12 computers installed and up and running their programs. So, there ya go. Most kids in school don't retain most of what they learned on important subjects. As my son's said to me one day when he was actually bin school around the end of the 3rd grade, " Mom, they don't care about what we learn. We cram, cram, cram, test, and forget it and move on once the tests are done.
