Zesco & the uni management are to blame for the student demonstrations. Of all places, how do they loadshed a uni for so many hours? Why don’t they have a generator backup for the uni? With CDF, why have they not invested in solar power? The police should also avoid using teargas against the students, which they used under the PF reign. The students say they’re peaceful, why did they follow the students in their rooms? Let them not brutalise students as this has the potential to bring dissatisfaction against the government.

Mr. President, Zesco load shedding is just to bad in the country. Mr. President do something please we are pleading with you. This is hell now. Your Government Mr President is losing ground. Thi is pathetic. Load shedding is an issue which is going to make you lose 2026 General elections. From the beginning, I have been supporting UPND government, but on this one I'm very disappointed by our government. Please do something over this issue of load shedding. Power is going out abnormally. No business under what so ever. We're going to die of hunger and poverty. Is what you want? People to die? Are you going to be happy? No , please listen to the underprivileged, poor people's cries.

No where in the constitution of Zambia is it written that there is peaceful demonstration, instead the constitution says there shall be no unlawful assembly so don't say peaceful demonstration,as much as students think they were doing the right thing the police were very much within their powers,its like the situation has even gone from zesco load shedding to police brutality which should not be the case, students are forgetting that what they were doing was also colliding with the peace of other citizens who are not students.thank you
