Want to do meditation follow the steps -
1. Find a quiet place and sit and relax there.
2. Close your eyes.
3. Feel the environment, the air, the sound, the fragrance.
4. Take deep breaths. Try to feel them too.
5. Yet the positive thoughts come to your mind and brainstorm them OR
6. Chant some mantra you like, such as OOOOOM.
7. The last, open your eyes slowly, rub your hands put them on your eyes and let the whole energy Enter into your body.

It will heal automatically after prolonged period of meditation.. initially everyone face problems but as we get used to it ..nothing can be more beneficial than meditation.

मेडिटेशन करने से शारीरिक सुख मिल सकता है लेकिन आध्यात्मिक लाभ नहीं मिल सकता है। परमात्मा से साक्षात्कार करने वाले संतों ने सहज समाधि बताई है जिसमें चलते-फिरते, उठते-बैठते परमात्मा का नाम सिमरन करना होता है।

नकली संतों व महंतों ने मेडिटेशन को अधिक महत्व दिया है। परंतु मेडिटेशन करने से शरीर में शारीरिक सुख प्राप्त हो सकता है परंतु आध्यात्मिक लाभ नहीं मिल सकता। संत रामपाल जी महाराज जी यथार्थ भक्ति विधि बताते हैं जो सहज समाधि है जिससे साधक को आध्यात्मिक, शारीरिक एवं मानसिक तीनों प्रकार के लाभ प्राप्त होते हैं।

गीता अध्याय 5 श्लोक 2 में कहा गया है कि तत्वदर्शी संत न मिलने के कारण वास्तविक भक्ति का ज्ञान न होने से साधकों द्वारा गृहत्याग कर वन में चला जाना या कर्म त्याग कर एक स्थान पर बैठ कर कान, नाक आदि बंद करके या तप आदि करना दोनों ही व्यर्थ हैं अर्थात श्रेयकर नहीं हैं।

हठयोग संतमत में नहीं बताया गया है। हठयोग करने से परमात्मा की प्राप्ति नहीं हो सकती है। संतमत में कबीर साहिब जी ने सहज समाधि बताई है। जिसमें उन्होंने कहा है नाम उठत, नाम बैठत, नाम सोवत जाग रे । नाम खाते, नाम पीते, नाम सेती लाग रे ।।

तत्वदर्शी संत से सत्यनाम और सारनाम प्राप्त करके जोकि सच्चे नाम मंत्र की ओर संकेत करते हैं और मर्यादा में रहकर सतभक्ति करने से पूर्ण मोक्ष प्राप्त होगा।

हठयोग से न तो परमात्मा मिलता है और न ही जन्म-मृत्यु से मुक्ति मिलती है। बल्कि पवित्र गीता अध्याय 17 श्लोक 5 व 6 में मनमाने घोर तप (हठयोग) करने वालों को गीता ज्ञान दाता ने अज्ञानी, आसुर स्वभाव वाले बताया है।

What is Anapanasati Meditation? ‘Ana’ means ‘In-Breath’ ‘Apana’ means ‘Out-Breath’ ‘Sati’ means ‘Be With’ In “Anapanasati Meditation“, the attention of the mind should constantly be on the normal, natural breath. The task on hand is effortful, joyful oneness with the breath. No ”mantra” to be chanted… no form of any ‘ deity ‘ to be entertained in the mind… no hathayogic pranayama like ‘ kumbhaka ‘.. holding the breath.. should be attempted. What is the procedure? Hands should be clasped and all fingers should go into all fingers The feet should be crossed The eyes should be closed Observe the normal natural breath Note - Any comfortable sitting posture can be taken… The posture should be as comfortable as possible…It is not at all necessary that we should squat on the ground… You can perfectly prefer a comfortable sofa…

मेडिटेशन का सीधा सा अर्थ है लगातार के अभ्यास से अपनी इंद्रियों को नियंत्रित करना। लेकिन पूर्ण संत इस तरह के अभ्यास को क्षणिक लाभ देने वाला बताते हैं जिसका मोक्ष से कोई लेना देना नहीं है।

मेडिटेशन की सही विधि क्या है? मेडिटेशन (ध्यान / प्रभु के नाम) की सही विधि कबीर साहेब ने बताई है:- नाम उठत नाम बैठत, नाम सोवत जागवे। नाम खाते नाम पीते, नाम सेती लागवे।। अर्थात परमात्मा का ध्यान/नाम सुमिरन करते रहना चाहिये।

सहज ध्यान से परमात्मा की प्राप्ति की जा सकती है। सहज भक्ति विधि को करने में किसी भी तरह के हठ योग की आवश्यकता नहीं होती क्योंकि सच्चे मंत्रों के जाप से ये सभी क्रियाएँ स्वतः सिद्ध हो जाती हैं।

सतयुग से लेकर अब तक प्रत्येक मानव भगवान को प्राप्त करने, जन्म-मृत्यु, वृद्धावस्था के कष्ट से छुटकारा पाने और पूर्ण मोक्ष प्राप्त करने के लिए प्रयत्नशील है। इसके लिए ऋषि, मुनियों और तपस्वियों ने हजारों, लाखों वर्षों तक घोर तप भी किया लेकिन परमात्मा प्राप्ति का उनका यह प्रयत्न विफल रहा।

संत मत में जो ध्यान है, वह परमात्मा की प्राप्ति की तड़फ में प्रति क्षण उसी की याद बनी रहे। जैसे चिंता होती है तो पल-पल मन उसी चीज़ पर केन्द्रित हो जाता है। कोशिश करने पर भी नहीं हटता
