Arts or a sport .... And like u said having conversations over and over with varied kinds of people ..... For someone who used to go blank when speaking I found out that the more I'm engaged in bettering my own life and getting myself into my hobbies and interests the more I could hold a conversation..... And this shouldn't with the intention of impressing people but a daily process to keep growing and learning .... Writing also massively helps it feels like a chore to write but it just is such a massive boost in becoming more articulate ....but no matter how interesting one becomes or has varied things to say what's also important is being genuinely interested and treating the other person as a book ur beginning to read ....
