In den letzten Monaten hörte ich im Radio oft "I follow rivers" und jedes Mal bin ich begeistert. Erinnert mich leicht an Paul Mc Cartney`s Stimme und doch so anders wundervoll. Die Version von Triggerfinger berührt mich am meisten, weil darin die Warmherzigkeit und Sehnsucht so tief vermittelt wird.

Nachdem die Lykke Li-Version immer wieder im Radio gespielt wurde und ich dieses nach dreimaligem Hören unbedingt abschalten musste, entdeckte ich durch Zufall diese Interpretation. Welch himmelweiter Unterschied! Give me more!

Bei 2.29 geht es nicht um einen Verzerrereffekt; es ist eine Gitarre zu hören, die der Sänger in dem Moment nicht spielt. Und am Schluss ist vom MP3 nicht nur das Schlagzeug zu hören, sondern auch ein spezieller Gitarreneffekt, ohne dass die sichtbare Gitarre dafür eingesetzt wird. Das schmälert keineswegs die Qualität der Band; besonders die Stimme ist toll!
